13.01.2022 Although it is a beautiful place to visit, Port Davey and Bathurst Harbour are no place for your yacht's steering cable to snap! Located on the South West Coast of Tasmania, the only way in and out is by walking, plane or boat. For our customer today, a snapped steering cable resulted in; -a bushwalk to Mellaluca airstrip, -a flight back to Cambridge, ... -Delivery of the cable to us at our new Bridgewater workshop, -a new cable measured, cut and swaged, back to the airport and back to the yacht. All of this done before lunch! Check your gear on your boat, it's put through a lot of stress, corrosion and poor conditions. This week we have replicated speedo cables for a 1927 and a 1929 Dodge that are being restored by two very fortunate customers. We can't wait to see these beautiful cars on the road!...
