23.01.2022 MEAT FREE VEGGIE LOADED BOLOGNESE 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 1 small zucchini, grated 1 small carrot, finely grated ... 1 celery stick, finely diced 1 small brown onion, diced 100g mushrooms, sliced 100 g @flexiblefoodsau Italian Plant Based Mince 500g passata Your choice of pasta to serve (I like to serve with pulse pasta or buckwheat pasta) Cook pasta and set aside. In a frying pan saute zucchini, carrot, celery and onion in olive oil until softened. Add @flexiblefoodsau plant based mince with 400ml hot water + passata and cook for 10 minutes. Reduce heat and add mushrooms and simmer until sauce is thickened to liking. Serve with pasta. 08.01.2022 You need to save this recipe SUNDAY NIGHT PLANT BASED SAN CHOU BAO USING @flexiblefoodsau by @melbournejade - INGREDIENTS... 100g packet Flexible Foods Plant Based Mince (Unflavoured) 1 tablespoon oil 3 spring onions, sliced 2 garlic cloves, crushed 2cm piece ginger, finely grated 1 long red chilli, sliced (optional) 1 tablespoon soy sauce cup vegan ‘oyster’ sauce cup water chestnuts, sliced 1 teaspoon sesame oil 100g rice vermicelli noodles, cooked according to packet directions 2 baby gem or baby cos lettuces, leaves detached - METHOD -Prepare @flexiblefoodsau Plant Based Mince according to packet directions. -Meanwhile, heat oil in a large frypan. 04.01.2022 Meat Lovers Pizza - Plant Based Version Created by @nourish_naturally Meat Lovers Pizza - Plant Based Version Recipe Makes 1 pizza Ingredients ... 1 wholemeal pizza base 3 Tbs tomato paste 1 Tbs extra virgin olive oil 1/2 pack of @flexiblefoodsau Plant Based Mince - A Taste of Italy 1/2 onion, finely diced 1 small clove garlic, crushed 1 ripe avocado, sliced 1/3 cup plant-based grated cheese Small handful of parsley Method: 1. Pre-heat oven roasted 180C. 2. Spread tomato paste over pizza base. 3. Heat oil on fry pan over over medium heat and cook onion until translucent. Add garlic and cook for a further minute. 4. Add @flexiblefoodsau Plant Based Mince and 200ml of water. Place lid on and cook over low heat for 4 minutes. Remove lid and cook for a further minute stirring until soft. 5. 01.01.2022 PUT OUR BURGER PATTIES TO THE TEST After going vegan, I’ve found a love for trying out different plant-based burger patties. Usually I do prefer a soy protein based once because I find that the texture and flavour is more meaty Thus, I was very intrigued to try this @flexiblefoodsau pattie made from pea protein... and I’m pleasantly surprised by how incredibly delicious it was! I was actually worried that it would taste grassy and like unflavoured pea-protei...n (PTSD from past experiences...) but it doesn’t! - @run2food I kept this burger simple to make the patty shine, just: toasted bread @flexiblefoodsau burger pattie lettuce, tomato & onion tomato relish avocado I love how the pattie is so high in protein and contains very clean ingredients - basically just a lot of dehydrated spices and herbs!
