24.01.2022 Attention All Reckon Accounts Users The Reckon Accounts Business Range 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 Premier and Enterprise Editions no longer includes a FREE Desktop Read Only version of QODBC. The QODBC license contract with Reckon Australia expired for all FREE QODBC read only editions on October 26, 2017. This does not effect licensed copies of QODBC. ... Reckon Accounts users that wish to continue using QODBC will now need to purchase their own licensed copy of QODBC. It's alleged that Reckon Australia have decided the FREE Read Only version of QODBC previously bundled with Reckon Accounts is no longer needed. Sorry for no advance notice. 23.01.2022 We had few support requests regarding "Invalid Certificate" error caused when using MS Office 365/2016 with QODBC. It seems the new version of MS Office 365 or 2016 does not install the Microsoft digital certificate correctly and thus both QuickBooks and Reckon Accounts are not able to validate the "Digital Certificate" of Excel/Access correctly. As a result, QuickBooks or Reckon Accounts does not allow the application to connect to your QuickBooks Company File via QODBC.... The solution is to manually install the Microsoft digital certificate. For more detail please refer to: http://qodbc.com/links/2944

17.01.2022 From our support desk: If you are having trouble connecting FlexODBC with MS Office 2016 (Office 365) - MS Access or MS Excel you will need to run MS Access or MS Excel *with elevating to Administrator permission* to establish a first time connection with FlexODBC. Using a server drive, you might also need to configure your DSN source to use a UNC-based path instead of a mapped path.... When using Windows 10 it appears that having opened a FlexODBC connection once as Administrator, the connections to FlexODBC then behave correctly from then on.

17.01.2022 From our support desk: What do I do when QODBC says that it isn't registered and won't do a test connection on the setup screen? Try uninstalling QODBC and downloading and installing the latest version from http://qodbc.com/qodbcDownload.htm... The version that comes with Reckon Accounts in New Zealand apparently only works with Enterprise edition.

The product will create multiple spreadsheets with one table from your company file each, or it can export all the tables into one spreadsheet file with multiple sheets.
