25.01.2022 Dear Flickerfest Alice friends due to the current health advice re gatherings and COVID -19 together with our partners the Araluen Centre we have decided to postpone the Flickerfest Alice Springs event from this weekend until October when we can share the magic of Flickerfest with you in a relaxed and enjoyable festival environment. Stay safe and healthy and be kind to one another and we will see you in the spring. Keep following this page for the confirmed October date.

07.01.2022 Hello Alice Springs!!! We are super excited that we will be returning to the Araluen Arts Centre once again with suitcases chock-a-block with the hottest shorts from across the globe! We will be kicking off on Friday the 2nd of October with our fabulous Short Laughs Comedy programme - a selection of hilarious side-splitting shorts and then following it up on Saturday 3rd October with our Best of Australian Shorts programme featuring the stunning doco 'Djuwalpada' out of southeast Arnhem Land, the story of Daniel Wilfred who travels the world sharing his manikay (ceremonial song) in order to keep his culture alive. We can't wait to see you very soon in the red centre with thanks to Screen Territory and Screen Australia!
