25.01.2022 Sorry if your on both my pages, I felt it necessary to share this here as well, because Ive been so quiet lately fighting some COVID business demons (yay for business owning!) But I am here, still pushing that self love train through the state!

23.01.2022 Boudoir is not pornography... Let me repeat that. Boudoir is NOT pornography. ... It frustrates the hell out of me that something that empowers so many women to feel beautiful, sexy and find their love for themselves is tarnished as being dirty and inappropriate. Firstly, let me just say... I have absolutely nothing against pornography. Director Kayden Kross is an absolute genius with her dark and artistic adult films. They are like 50 shades of grey uncut and with none of the boring emotional bits just raw, honest... rough, romping. Nor do I think porn watching is a dirty thing. I think it can be completely healthy and normal to indulge in adult films. Now that’s out of the way, boudoir is nothing like pornography. Boudoir is about you feeling yourself and being absolutely empowered by your goddess-ness. It’s about being a queen (or king or what ever your identifier). It’s about subtleness, rawness, you-ness. It’s about suggestively posing and alluring that more is going on than it is. Its damn well hot and beautiful and one of the best things I have ever done on both sides of the camera. Boudoir is a body positive experience, it’s for everybody; boudoir doesn’t discriminate. It’s inclusive because all bodies are beautiful. But it’s definitely not pornography. I could list the ways it is nothing like pornography here but 8:50am is not the time to mention the words I would need to describe it. So instead I’m starting a hashtag campaign to raise awareness of the beautiful and empowering art we create at our body positive studio. This is how I’m going into 2021, banging the drum loud and clear that we no longer need to censor legitimate businesses because the public have a right to follow and unfollow (we’re all grown ups here!) Its almost 2021, people feeling empowered and body positive is a thing! #boudoirisnotporn Btw... you don’t have to take your clothes off to feel empowered or body positive, I’m not suggesting it’s the only way or the way for everyone... but it’s one way that has helped me to see that I am sexy and beautiful and sensual, have a lovely day and love yourself.

23.01.2022 Omg this little family!!! What a way to spend my Friday night, culling and editing adorable moments

23.01.2022 And that concludes almost 2 weeks camping around Tasmania. We weathered a few storms, visited some amazing places and witnessed some awe inspiring sceneries. Biggest disappointment is that not everything is open atm (understandable), so we couldnt see, do and support as much as we would have liked. Devastated that Remarkable Cave was closed and the kids are equally devastated that Hastings Cave and Hot springs was partially closed (the hot springs and walks were closed). H...uge thank you to White Beach Tourist Park for taking us in last minute, late at night when the storm hit and drenched us, ripped apart our gear and basically left us with 3 saturated and freezing children (and adults). We arrived to a warm toasty cabin ready to go! Highlight of the trip for the kids (Dave and my mum included) is definitely the Bruny Island Cruise with Pennicott Wilderness Journeys... The seas were rough, a wave came over the bow and drenched Ava and Jacob, Hamish got seasick, but we seen dolphins, a blowhole, huge sea cliffs and caves, seals! It was amazing and absolute round of applause to the crew for getting us out and around in such awful and huge seas and winds and of course back to the beach safely. My highlight was stopping at Get Shucked Bruny Island Oysters for some goodies and spending some amazing time with my beautiful family. Oh and of course finding Sea Sparkle at Freycinet was a very happy accident! Mum ticked Wineglass Bay off her bucket list and we were all feeling very happy that we committed and walked in. What a beautiful spot! Places we stayed: Mount William National Park Freycinet Lime Bay State Reserve (Tasman Penninsula) Gordon (Air BnB thanks to more storms we stayed at a beautiful seaside shack!) We cut our trip short because the weather isnt looking as nice so we day tripped to Cockle Creek. 2 weeks exploring the East Coast of Tassie from the top to the bottom. Highly recommend the food at The Penninsula Cafe in Nubeena, omg the pies in fact I could have easily spent 2 weeks on the Penninsula exploring. There is so much to see, do and eat! Time for us to have a little rest, unpack and clean, then back to work! If you have done/planning to do something similar sing out and let us know because we are keen to do this again! We were supposed to be in PNG but this was definitely one of the best holidays we have done as a family and it was right here in our own backyard!

22.01.2022 And we are back. The end of our time away. We had so much to think about and some very big decisions to make regarding our business. I feel relaxed, refreshed but also petrified. Pieman Heads, you were perfect.

15.01.2022 Sometimes all you need is ice cream, a drive through the country and silly selfies. Whats your go to when you need some time out?

15.01.2022 Another Overland track done in the most amazing weather! Why wouldn’t you want to spend your 40th birthday with 6 strangers in horrendous weather carting a 20kg pack? Day 1 we were pelted with rain, the fog covered the surrounding mountains and we walked without any perspective for where we really were. Day 2 the sun shone bright but the chilly air brought through some afternoon showers. Barn bluff only appeared briefly to remind us of the enormous beauty we were surrounded... by. Day 3 was divine. The sun shone, shorts were worn. We wandered along the forth valley and were awed by jaw dropping mountain ranges wearing clouds as crowns. Day 4 we sat on a mountain and ate peanut butter wraps while the sun thawed out the -4/5 memories of the night before. It was a moment. 7 women, breasts out saluting an unforgiving land. Absolutely empowering. Day 5 was moody, the fog hung low in the trees long after the pink sunrise left. A day filled with gushing waterfalls, mossy wizard trees and a couple of tiger snakes. On day 6 we ended our journey with a chilly refreshing swim in lake st clair and sips of beautiful mountain flavoured gin! What a trip, what a track. The photography lessons were phenomenal, from capturing and composing, mood and light to chilly star filled nights photographing the Milky Way. Not a day went by when we weren’t sharing the love for our craft and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Who is coming in our next adventure?

06.01.2022 I sat here and filled my diary whilst the sun set. No phone range, no technology. Just me and a leather bound secret keeper. I was anxiety free for the first time in so long, I cannot even remember. My shoulders had dropped, my face had no telltale signs of the stress and exhaustion I was putting myself through. No bruised eyes. Who am I? What can I change/what cant I change? Where do I want to be work wise? ... When do I predict things will go back to normal? Why do I do what I do? This is the new normal. For us, between September and April every weekend is filled with the laughter and beauty of weddings. We crawl into bed after midnight, buzzed by all the creative vibes of the day. We wake up mentally hung over on Sundays and eat all the carbs that we didnt eat the day before. Its our vibe and we love it. Its also our main source of income for the year. But not this year. This year, things are significantly different. Most of our weddings have moved to later dates or cancelled altogether. No dancing, social distancing, limited numbers allowed in venues. Its so very different to our norm. I miss it terribly. Our time away was lovely, but its main focus was to keep us away from work so we could discuss the future of our business. To discuss what needs to be done to keep it going. It hurts to take 3 giant steps backwards but as my nan pointed out (she has this knack of pulling me off the panic ledge with her sharp no nonsense tongue), the business is just that, we still have our health and our loved ones, our house even and thats far more important than any work and a lot more than a lot of people. To all our beautiful clients, thank you for all your wonderful and much appreciated support. We are here because you are making that possible. Stay safe, stay happy, stay well.

05.01.2022 What a great bunch. Day 1 of our Overland Track adventure and my first day back guiding for Tas Photo Workshops. Poor Cam is the only male on the trip, he is well and truly out numbers. Brilliant way to spend my birthday. ... Apparently we have a couple of spaces left for November and we are working dates for 2021! Whoooooo!

05.01.2022 Just an FYI, I am still on holidays and currently doing some much needed relaxing. Netflix and chill under snuggly blankets with my littlest man. I have never slept so much! I tried to watch Peppermint and slept through it. Tried to watch the Jeffrey Dahmer doco and slept through it. Mandalorian (I’ll be sleeping through this later!) I am so tired! Thanks to my lovely neighbour who brought me Xmas kiss biscuits, they are my survival food atm. ... I hope your all relaxing.

01.01.2022 Events are the F+D teams jam! Nik had the pleasure of attending the Sandridge Estates 'Spring Gin Fling' and oh what a night!! The finest Gins Tasmania has to offer with an endless variety of mixers and tasty fruits, herbs and flowers for that extra special touch. Paired with beautiful food (I had the steak with potato rosti and green veg salad OMG!!) And talented entertainment! If I could sum this whole night up in just one image, it has to be this one!
