01.01.2022 We understand many of you want know when international travel will start again, whether that’s to see family overseas or to take a much deserved holiday. Federal Tourism Minister Simon Birmingham lets us know that our nation’s borders will likely be closed to 2021: I do sadly think that in terms of open tourist-related travel in or out of Australia, that remains quite some distance off". There are also some limited exemptions to the travel ban, including on compassionate gr...ounds. The exemptions are managed by Home Affairs and you can find more info here: https://covid19.homeaffairs.gov.au/leaving-australia.
