Cable Beach is famous for its crystal clear waters and white sand. ... At sunset you can take a camel ride along the beach If that's not your cup of tea, watch the sunset from Cable Beach Resort's beachfront bar. Walk in the footsteps of dinosaurs at Gantheaume Point, a five minute drive from Broome. The views from this point are spectacular. If you want a unique experience, book a hovercraft tour to see the dinosaur footprints in the mudflats off of Gantheaume Point. Take a sunset cruise in Roebuck bay to see snub nose dolphins. Broome has the largest known population of these cute and rare dolphins. If you're lucky you might even spot a humpback whale or sea turtle as well. Watch a movie at Sun Pictures, the world's oldest picture garden still in operation. Sun Pictures screens multiple movies each night. There's so much to do and see within a short drive of Broome. Head to the Cable Beach Surf Life Saving Club on a Friday or Sunday for cheap drinks with the best view in town! 01.01.2022 Just a handful of the amazing trips we’ve had to cancel due to COVID. The Flight Centre Torquay team (Emma, Craig, Amanda and Matt) have been working hard to help clients secure refunds or credits with suppliers or re-schedule trips for over 300 bookings. To date the team have either partially refunded, fully refunded or issued credits for 263 of those bookings. There is still a way to go as we wait on funds back from suppliers or policies to be updated but we are getting there. Thank you to our amazing customers who have popped in to check we are ok and who have been so understanding during this difficult time.
