24.01.2022 We are excited to let our school community know, that the Aboriginal Education Team has been successful in their application of a number of Grants to help get the work on our Bush Tucker Garden started. First step has been clearing the new pathways and working with our Grounds person to map out needed watering systems. We have also purchased new gardening equipment and we are very excited to be starting this project and continuing its establishment next year working alongside the students and school community.

18.01.2022 As part of our Closing Ceremony, we had planned to invite families to share in a community sausage sizzle and Aunty Mona was going to 'officially' open our 'ALWAYS WAS, ALWAYS WILL BE', Learning Exhibition. The Exhibition showcases the students learning from Pre-school to Year 7 over NAIDOC and Reconciliation Weeks. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 Restrictions we cannot open our Exhibition to families and the school community. Students and staff of the school have had the op...portunity to look through the Exhibition and were impressed! It is disappointing that we cannot extend an invitation to families at this time, to view the Exhibition. The Aboriginal Education Team is currently in negotiations to leave the display up until next year, so that perhaps in 2021 families can share with the children, their wonderful work. Until this time, we hope you enjoy the photos.

Older students worked in small groups with younger students to make their damper and also had the opportunity to participate in a number of craft activities (ran by Michelle and Kayden).
