23.01.2022 FISC Staff are really looking forward to seeing students back on campus on Monday. The teachers are well prepared to engage students both on campus and offshore. Classrooms are set up with the required technology and desks have been appropriately distanced. To ensure that everyone can participate equally in the learning experiences, students are asked to bring their laptops to campus so that Zoom can still be used. Cant wait to see you!

21.01.2022 Today, we introduce our Student Counsellor, Naomi. I am the Counsellor at FISC and I love adventure! I enjoy discovering new places and trying new things. Here I am trying something that I’d never done before. It was my first pilots lesson on a Gyrocopter at Goolwa on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia. Only an hour away from the city of Adelaide, this adventure was so much fun.

17.01.2022 The annual Brighton Jetty Sculptures Exhibition displays the work of talented local artists in outdoor and indoor galleries, located at beautiful Brighton Beach in South Australia. Sales from the sculptures go towards raising funds for the Brighton Surf Life Saving Club.

15.01.2022 Today, we introduce our teacher Harold. Harold began teaching at Flinders University in the College of Business Government and Law in 2007 and began teaching at FISC in 2013. His main topics are Economics, Accounting and Business which he teaches at Foundation, Diploma and Pre-Masters levels. Harold enjoys teaching students from around the world and has lived in Japan and England and travelled to many countries in the Asia Pacific, Europe and North America. Harold has many interests including nature, people, family, church and community, and Australian history. He also enjoys property development and renovation, and music as a player, singer and listener.

14.01.2022 This old FJ Holden car was spotted by one of our FISC staff on a recent trip to the Barossa Valley. The Holden company was founded in South Australia in 1856 and before Holden commenced manufacturing cars they produced horse saddles. Although the Flinders University campuses are closed this week, FISC classes* resumed today with all classes currently being held ONLINE. (*AEP classes recommence Monday 11 January). From the week commencing Monday 11 January, classes for onshore students will be held at Sturt Campus. Offshore students will continue their classes online. #FISCLife
