13.01.2022 Come down and check us out at the Koala Picnic! We will be taking bookings for our school holiday program AND supporting Koalas!

11.01.2022 Calling all LANDOWNERS! We are looking to collaborate! Our beautiful Kalang site is vulnerable to flooding and we are looking for a backup site for our Quoll Kids Bush School program. Our program facilitates deep nature connection for kids through essential bush skills and wild play. We don't want to cancel our programs so we are seeking landowners who can provide an alternate space to run Quoll Kids if our Kalang site is affected. ... Ideally, you would have... some open space for games some bushland/forest for shelter building, games, and exploration access to water - creek, beach, or river (not essential) within a reasonable drive to Coffs/Bellingen town centers If this sounds like your place and you are passionate about kids being kids in the outdoors, please send us a message or email [email protected]

07.01.2022 All the rain this year has made for an abundance of wild foods. This is a small sample of what we have around Kalang. Blue Quandong, finger lime, bunya nut, greater plantain seeds and sandpaper figs. The finger lime was planted here and the Bunya were a gift from a great friend up the valley. As always, only harvest a small amount as soo many animals and birds rely on these seasonal garden gifts.
