Y...ou all showed great sportsmanship before and after races, and we all loved seeing it! We also loved seeing parents and other competitions cheer on and encourage other children in races! Again, we send our deepest thanks to everyone who helped out today. Thank you for the great day!

20.01.2022 Happy Easter to everyone from Andrew and Simone. We are missing everyone and can’t wait to see everyone again but for now stay home and stay safe. Enjoy your very different Easter Sunday.

20.01.2022 We are missing you all! We hope everyone is staying safe during this time. We can’t wait for the day to see you all again! Unfortunately it doesn’t seem likely that the current restrictions will be lifted at the start of term two, which means it’s unlikely that we are going to be able to re-open on the 14th of April as planned. If you are bored at home, and want to practice swimming there are plenty of exercises you can do to get stronger without a pool! ... Some examples are; . Practice your bubbles in the bath Practice straightening your kicking legs on your bed . Put some pillows on the floor or your bed and practice your forward somersaults for your tumble turns Diving practice . Do a jumping squat with your arms starting beside your body, by the time you’re up in the air you should have your arms stretched above your head into a torpedo. Squad kids, doing body weight exercises are the best thing to do to keep you strong and fit for when you return to the water. . Squats . Pushups . Planks . Sit ups . Flutterkicks If you’re looking for more exercises to practice outside of the pool for certain techniques, please feel free to contact the Facebook page and we would be more than happy to offer advice.

19.01.2022 Flippers opens up for 2020 tomorrow at 9:00 AM (Tuesday the 28th of January) We are looking forward to another great year! Can’t wait to see you all!

19.01.2022 Hopefully not too much longer until we can roll these covers back and see this pool getting used everyday! . We hope you’re all safe and well

17.01.2022 We would like to send our deepest thanks to Pasta Al Dente for yet another year of donating bread for our carnival sausage sizzle. We appreciate your on going support.

17.01.2022 Update: Due to low numbers we will not be running a holiday program from Monday 11th January. Term 1 will commence Wednesday 27th January at 9am. Enjoy the rest of your well deserved break and look forward to see everyone back for 2021.

14.01.2022 We have been taking every action to make sure Flippers is a safe environment.

14.01.2022 Merry Christmas from every one at Flippers! We hope you had a great day spent with family!

12.01.2022 Everyone needs to play their part in stopping coronavirus (COVID-19) before it’s too late and can’t be contained. Let’s all work together to keep everyone we love safe. The sooner we all take this seriously, the sooner we can all go back to living our normal safe lives. ... Do it for the people you love, and do it for the people you’ve never met. We can do this, we must. .

10.01.2022 As we are currently in Stage Three lockdown restrictions due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) it is with a heavy heart that we are unfortunately unable to open our doors at this current moment. But it is what has to be done. Our aim is to re-open as soon as it is safe to do so. We thank everyone for doing their part but it’s not over yet! If you can stay home you must stay home. ... We appreciate everyone’s support at this time, We are hoping everyone stays safe. Our instructors are missing their students and we are missing seeing all the families that support us every week, but this isn’t forever. We can’t wait for the day we can Re-Open and see everyone’s faces again. See you soon, everyone!

06.01.2022 SAFETY WEEK will be running this coming Monday 7th December until Saturday 12th December. Please remember to wear shorts or pants and t-shirt over the top of your bathers.

06.01.2022 Flippers Update: OPENING AT THE START OF TERM 3: The new set of easing restriction rules has been updated, with the limit of the amount of people in the pool area at any one time staying at a maximum of 20. Although, there will no longer be a limit on the amount of people we can have in a lane, we still don’t think this is manageable with the amount of swimmers and parents we have coming into the pool area for their lessons. So it’s with a heavy heart that we will not be ab...le to open at the date we first hoped (22nd of June). We WILL be opening at the start of Term 3 (Monday the 13th of July). Although things didn’t go as we planned, we see this as only an extra 3 weeks until we can see every one again. We do apologise for any Inconvenience caused. We can’t wait until we can see every one again and we thank you for all of your ongoing support and patience during this time. It really does mean a lot to us. If there are any questions please feel free to message us through our Facebook page See more

02.01.2022 FLIPPERS UPDATE: We are very concerned with Australias fast spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) We have decided to take immediate action, and believe that it is for the best that we close Flippers as of today at 12:00 to keep everyone safe and limit the chances of spreading this virus. ... Our aim is to re-open after the term one school holidays (April 14th). But this could all be subject to change, if anything changes we will be sure to let everyone know as soon as we know. We encourage everyone to stay home, and only leave their house when they absolutely need to. Everyone needs to do their part. Let’s look after each other, and slow the spread, together. Stay safe everyone. We appreciate your support at this time, we are hoping to see everyone back in term 2. More information regarding current term one block payments will be coming soon.

02.01.2022 FLIPPERS UPDATE: As of the 1st of June, some restrictions are being lifted regarding pools. I’m sure everyone is wondering if we will be opening on this date. After sitting down and thinking about it, we have made the decision to not rush into opening Flippers. The current limitations set out for after May 31st means we would only be allowed to have 20 people in the centre at any one time, and 3 people per lane in our pool. We believe that just because we can open, it doesn’...t mean we should. This isn’t a decision that we have taken lightly, as we are missing everyone and finding it tough not seeing everyone every day, but being a private learn to swim centre, we would rather open when everyone is able to learn to swim again, as well as giving every parent the right to watch their child learn to swim! Now for some positive news: Further restrictions will be lifted on June the 22nd and it looks likely that we will be able to open up on this date, and allow things to run as normal . which means it will only be one more month until we can see you all again. So pencil this date in. Of course if anything does change, there will be further updates. If you’re wondering if the time slot your child or children currently swim at stays the same, the answer is YES, unless you choose you want to change your time slot. It will remain the same when we re open. We can not wait until we can see you all again. One more month!!

01.01.2022 We would like to thank everyone for their support in 2020. It was a tough year but having your on-going support through it all, has truly meant the world to us. Enjoy the break! Here’s to a incredible 2021. ... Thank you, Everyone at Flippers.

01.01.2022 Flippers will be re-opening on Tuesday the 28th of January at 9:00AM. Only 2 weeks to Go! We hope everyone is enjoying their break
