25.01.2022 Good morning all. With the end of term drawing near, we would like all term fees paid by the end of next week . Next week we will also be putting up dates for lessons over the school holidays. Miss Kel has been very busy over this term working 7 days a week so she will be having until after Xmas off so these dates won’t be until January. Thank you to everyone who has been helpful and flexible with their times

22.01.2022 This is by far the hardest thing to hear. We hope everyone that comes here, whether you believe we do a good job or not knows that we only have the child’s best interests at heart. We love teaching kids to enjoy water and first and foremost, to give them a fighting chance at saving themselves. If you don’t take them for the lessons, how will they have that chance. I don’t care if they come here or go to above and beyond or Terri’s or the town pool or bullets, take your children to lessons and help them save their lives. Little ones may never need to be in that scary situation but trust me, it only takes seconds and you won’t hear anything until it may be to late. Please please please, get your little one lessons or if you know someone, encourage them.

21.01.2022 Happy Friday float fam. Just a quick reminder , those who I haven’t spoken to fees need to be finalised by the end of term please. Also looking at booking for next term, there is a book on the table or flick me a message. Thankyou to all our float family for supporting local business. Have a great weekend.

20.01.2022 What a day to remember. This would be on par with our opening day here at float. Our little swim school at Benaraby had the whole of Benaraby school go through today and our thanks goes not only the school for trusting us but also the parents. The kids were all so well behaved and polite, it was a real privilege to be able to help with lessons today. We look forward to seeing you all next Friday and the remainder of the term.

19.01.2022 It fills my heart to walk out this morning and see soooo many new faces here working with miss Kel. She puts her heart and soul into what she does and with so many new faces, word of mouth is getting around because we don’t do any advertising, we have a tiny little sign out front and an occasional post to say hello. Thank you to everyone who has shown some love to us and trusted us with your little ones. Much love from Mr Kye

08.01.2022 Week one is nearly down and it’s so great to be back in the water. QLD has done exceptionally well with the Covoid and now we have the opportunity to reopen and do what we love doing here and teaching water safety. If you haven’t already, please contact us and make your bookings. Also taking bookings for term 4. Remember, our little ones can drown any time of the year so lessons in winter, make for a super fun Summer

07.01.2022 Good morning float family. We would like to see if people would be interested in doing an intensive classes on the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on the first week of school holidays? The reason for our thought process with this is, kids tend to have a few steps back when we take a couple of weeks off. Doing the intensives give them a bit of a step up and keep them focused for our return. ... Please let us know soon so we get a plan of attack together.

01.01.2022 Good afternoon all, due to the recent situation in Gladstone with Covid-19. We must ask, even insist that if you’re attending this week as a parent or a responsible adult that you must wear a mask. This has been sent to us by the Qld government. We preach safety in and around the water but in these times we must ensure the safety of a different kind. Please don’t put us in the awkward position to ask you to wait in the car. It’s not how we roll at float but we need to look ...after everyones safety. If anyone is uncomfortable about masks and do not wish to attend this final week, we have options. Option 1 Attend classes as per normal but mandatory masks to be worn as described above Option 2 If you are currently enrolled in term 1 and returning for term 2, you can have this week off and we will only invoice you for 8 weeks next term Option 3 If you aren’t attending for term 2 and don’t feel comfortable attending then you may forgo your last week but there will be no refunds given. We are sorry if this is the option anyone would like to take and hope not to offend anybody.
