24.01.2022 As the last of 4 annual reports is sent off to print this afternoon, I would be lying if I said I wasn't completely exhausted. A satisfied exhaustion. Now, I'm shutting down while it is still daylight and looking forward to a weekend doing anything but working!

24.01.2022 Who else is trying to make the best of this very bad situation? I spent last week trying not to panic that most of my regular work has disappeared and trying to keep up the 'gotta be busy' mentality. But from this week, I am determined to change that mindset, kick old habits, and use this time for me. Running my own business and being constantly busy for the last 7+ years, I haven't had any time off where work hasn't tagged along. I've worked through holidays, visitors, days ...before/after our wedding, post operations, even our honeymoon, and all I have wished for is some down time. This quiet time can make me panic if I let it, or I can turn it around and take it as the time off I need to rest my brain, my eyes and get my mojo back. I also want some quiet Frankie Magazine reading time!! 04.01.2022 The week before Xmas, we finalised the design of a new logo and studio signage for Encore Pilates & Wellness - and what a nice surprise to see everything in the flesh this week when I started my new #pilates year! It was such a delight to work on this project, the vibe of the Encore studio is so welcoming, bright and positive, which we tried to capture in the new logo. Pilates is my new addiction. I now realise the damage that can be done to a body when it spends too many ho...urs sitting at a computer year after year... But, it's never too late to undo bad posture habits, or work on fixing injuries, don't live in pain or discomfort - especially if it is work that is bringing you undone!
