Please take a look at our website for our colour range PRICING Standard size Single car garage 15-20 sqm $1100 Standard size Double car garage 30-40 sqm $1950 We charge between $44-$88 per sqm depending on concrete condition and the size of the area HOW WE PREPARE SURFACE AND APPLY FLAKE SYSTEM 1. Diamond grinding the concrete to flatten and resurface the area which is best way to prepare the concrete surfaces for coatings rather than acid washing or pressure washing 2. Repair cracks and holes over the surface 3. Regrind the surface to flatten repairs 4. Apply coloured epoxy 2 pac 100% solids and spread flake chips over the wet epoxy until it has been fully covered. 5. Apply clear protection coat which stops any staining of oils and dirt. This product is very durable and will withstands the harsh UV from direct sunlight A non-slip additive can be applied and is recommended in wet areas to prevent slipping Not preparing the concrete surface correctly will cause the coating to not get the correct adhesion and it will peel and lift away after a few months Diamond grinding the surface is the best way to prepare for any types of coatings CLEANING A FLAKE FLOOR Outside area can be swept or hosed down with water or a light duty pressure cleaner can be used Inside areas should be vacuumed and then mop with household detergent in warm water WARRANTY 5 year warranty on our Epoxy coatings this covers Lifting and Peeling Depending on foot/vehicle traffic Top clear coat usually last 5-6 year before re-coating which is only due to dullness of shine If the area has been looked after correctly with a broom or vacuum over when dirty you will have no problems getting 4-5 years or possibly more until a re-coat is needed No warranty if the surface has scratches and wear marks No warranty if there is moisture in the concrete which can cause the coating to be delaminated from the concrete surface

19.01.2022 People often ask what is the difference between Mechanically Polished Concrete and Grind and Seal Mechanically polished concrete is for indoors only it is the true form of polished concrete as it is the concrete itself that is polished and buffed until it shines there is no topical coating and therefore there is nothing to wear away over time, and it will last you many years. With floors that are mechanically polished the concrete is hardened and densified to up to 10 ti...mes its natural strength so it is much less likely to crack. The concrete is also grouted which is a process that fills in the small pin holes and cracks on the surface which leaves the top smooth and very refined so if you run your finger across the floor it looks and feels like a sheet of glass. Then the floor undergoes a series of polishes using resins which make the floor smooth, shiny and glossy you can finish the procedure after just a few polishes so that you end up with a matte finish or you can continue to polish up to a very high grit for the semi or high gloss finish. It is a very luxurious floor and is very highly recommended by the team at KMB A Grind and Seal however can be used for indoor or outdoor and is a cheaper alternative to the authentic polished concrete and very popular in cafes and restaurants as well as outdoor areas, garages, driveways and homes. This procedure involves grinding the concrete to prepare it for a clear coating of a sealer like a polyurethane or epoxy. The clear coating will protect your concrete and if desired we can use a special grit in the top layer in order to make floors non-slip (ideal for around pools, and any wet areas). The final product still looks similar to the mechanically polished concrete however it is the sealer that gives the floor an artificial shine and so like any topical coating, over time this will start to wear and eventually need to be sanded back and re-applied. Sealers will generally last 2-7 years depending on traffic and they are available in a matte, semi-gloss or a high gloss finish.
