14.01.2022 Just to give you all an update on the flower market at the moment . Prices are now more elevated than the Valentine’s Day period. . There is very limited availability both locally and imported . This Mother’s Day period wiped out the majority of product , and has yet to be replenished. The market supply this morning was abissmal . I returned with 1/4 of my normal buy. Rose prices are over the top as are any other of the staples I use . Wholesalers are demanding extraordinary prices and it doesn’t seem like it will abate in the short term . Basically they are demanding any price that comes into their heads at point on of sale . So just to give you the heads up . That’s the state of affairs at the moment . I hope it passes quickly . And thank you all for your amazing support
