20.01.2022 We have been searching for sometime for a good cartrige water filter for our ultrasonic humidifiers and we now have some. These filter holders hold 5" cartridges and come complete with 2 cartridges so that you will have one spare, a filter opening tool and a mounting bracket. The cost is $25.00 plus gst and postage.

06.01.2022 Keikigrow Plus plant hormones in lanolin is now available in toothpaste type tubes as well the regular cream jars. With the new tubes you don't need to use an applicator, just squeeze it out and onto your buds. The Keikigrow Plus is the same formulation as in the cream jars just softer so that it can be squeeded. The two sizes are 4.5 g for $10.00 and 7.5 for $16.00 plus postage.

03.01.2022 I have been using a microscope for many years to check orchid seed and now I have purchased a microscope camera. You may find it interesting to see what seed looks like close up. I hope to post more photos of seed of different genera as I get time and as I get used to the camera. These 3 images are of some Epidendrum seed. The first one is what looked like good seed but only a few had embryos, the second was slightly immature seed which was only embryos and the last was good seed with about 40% embryos.
