25.01.2022 Bracken Palomino- One of my favorite dahlias. As always, It performed super well this season and pumped out the flowers. We will have a limited amount of dahlia tubers for sale. 23.01.2022 Well that was a little crazy! If you tried buying dahlia tubers from us last night you will know what Im talking about! My sincere thank you to all of you enthusiastic dahlia lovers out there that snapped them up so quickly. We sold out on most varieties in minutes! My apologies to those of you that missed out this time. Good news is we havent finished digging them up and we will be able to re stock some of the varieties. Will keep you posted.

22.01.2022 We will always be grateful for any rain but sometimes it can feel bitter sweet. It’s hard to watch the rain damage the flowers. (Goodbye first flush of roses ) I checked on the Snapdragons today and thankfully they have held up very well with the days of rain. More heading to @bmfoodcoop tomorrow afternoon

20.01.2022 Lets start this rainy Sunday off with cake! How gorgeous is this! I absolutely love seeing our flowers being used to decorate cakes. Match made in heaven I reckon. This delectable cake was made by Nisa Mud And Sugar and decorated by @pat__wright with a selection of our fresh chemical free flowers for her lovely daughters 21st birthday

20.01.2022 We have now closed orders for our farm bunches. Partly due to those awful winds we had on the weekend combined with the season coming to an end. -Sadly, the flower patch is slowing down. We still have plenty of Gomphrena (see last post) and our beautiful Strawflowers are still producing

18.01.2022 We’ve been busy labeling soap and getting ready to restock them on our website TONIGHT,8pm. I know so many of you have been waiting patiently. Thank you! Our soap labels are printed on handmade paper, made from all our paper waste around the farm. It’s something that I really enjoy and I think it finishes our soap off with something very special and unique.

13.01.2022 I close my eyes and all I see is dahlia tuber eyes! Haha, yes Ive been doing a lot of dividing and packing, getting all your dahlia tubers out the door. Ive almost completed the postal orders and now Im moving onto pick ups. If you nominated pick up from Bikeminded your order will be ready to pick up this Friday. (I will contact you all individually) For those of you that have received your dahlia tubers please unpack straight away and follow storage instructions on the information sheet. Dahlia pictured is West Coast our most popular variety this season, selling out in minutes! I think we can all agree its a stunner!

13.01.2022 Sunflowers are germinating! Wooo! You might recall last season we wanted to offer a ‘Morning in the Sunflowers’ Photo Shoot. A collaboration with two talented locals photographer @lisaaltavillaphotography and a yummy breakfast made by @lavender_hill_graze but unfortunately a dry season meant no sunflowers. I don’t want to get too ahead of myself but this season is looking promising! ... Who’s coming?

11.01.2022 It’s Lily time!! First season growing Liliums on a larger scale and I’m hooked! Definitely adding more varieties to them next year. We planted these in our perennial patch and will leave them in the ground undisturbed to multiply. ... If you have lilies in your garden make sure you leave a third of the stem behind when cutting to ensure flowers for next season.

08.01.2022 I’m totally blown away by how much everyone loves our soaps! I’ve had so many wholesale enquiries that I’ve lost count. I called a meeting with @floral.by.nature.man yesterday to work out how much we could achieve with everything else going on. And I think to keep up with demand I would have to quit my day job as #farmerflorist, which I’m definitely not ready to do SO having said that, we came to the conclusion that I’m just not going to be able to say yes to every wholes...ale enquiry (yet) until we are all stocked up and have lots to go around. At the moment the priority will be getting the soaps back on our website for our retail customers. Thank you for everyone’s interest, it really does mean so much to me to have such positive feedback. I’m pumping out soaps as fast as I can and they will be back on the website soon. If you are waiting for your wholesale soaps, thank you for your patience

08.01.2022 It was one of those extra special mornings today. I was busily harvesting away when this beautiful scene caught my attention. Took my breath away! Sure makes the early mornings worth it. We are in full bloom at the moment and have been making lots of pretty bouquets up. Order online if you would like to get your hands on some. 06.01.2022 Between all the Winter farm jobs (and making our flower soaps) Ive been keeping my creative self happy making handmade flower paper. I have always loved handmade paper and I thought combining our flowers with our paper waste would not only be kind to the planet but create something pretty darn beautiful too! They will be used for our gift cards, tags, vouchers and packaging. Im also thinking of stocking our online store with some flower paper stationery sets if anyone is ...interested. Who loves handmade paper too?

05.01.2022 Ive been busting to share this with everyone! FLORAL BY NATURE SOAP! A couple of months ago I approached local soap artisan Soaps by Heather if she would be happy to come up with a soap just for us, using our flowers. Heather was amazing and came up with a really special blend. Its a creamy luxurious, all natural soap with a soft floral fragrance. We love it and hope you do too! 04.01.2022 All Snapdragons have finished flowering now and we’ve started the process of pulling them out so we can get our Summer annuals in. We received lots of great feedback on our Snappies. One customer told us they lasted her 20 days!

03.01.2022 And the big dig begins! I know a lot of you are waiting to purchase our dahlia tubers and I thank you for your patience. I finally started lifting and dividing them today. 1 variety down. Its a BIG job but it has begun. Back to it tomorrow!
