25.01.2022 Every once in a while my confidence wobbles (to the surprise of a few). I always try to put forward a "git r done" attitude learned from a mentor of mine when I started my professional work life @emilietrice. Now that was a woman who knew how to be exceptional and get things done. Occasionally I wake in the mornings having not slept thanms to my little kiddies I get to work i open the laptop and the workload seems insurmountable. But I know I got this. So I go to the car ...get my leather jacket and fish out varying levels of red lippy, Pump up some beyonce, drink some coffee and its back on. Just needed a mental gear shift to remember who I am inside. 07.01.2022 METAMORPHOSIS It's been so great to be getting back to my artwork for a few special clients in the form logos, some upcoming tattoos and just sometimes because inspiration takes me to draw something special for no other reason than my hands just takeover and it turns into something for that person. I struggled to find my medium again, after I gave up the oil paints and screenprinting, I started to rediscover what I liked about drawing when I started drawing artworks for @h...ightidesurfboards I realised I love the sensation of the smooth glide of pen on the glass-like surface of the surfboards. Everything flows more naturally and recently I have been drawing directly into digital using my trusty steed of a laptop recreating the joy of that sensation.
