22.01.2022 We are giving away our twelve chooks, they are purebred Dark Barred Plymouth Rocks. We will let them go only to a very good home, where they are completely free range and are kept warm and safe at night. We would prefer they go as one group or as two groups of six. They are only a year old. We just don't need them anymore now we no longer have the cafe. Please call Madeleine on 0419375537 or Ian on 0439655551 if you are interested. They are dear girls so we must know that they are going to be well fed and loved.

13.01.2022 Check the biscuits, cakes and corn chips you buy. Many of your favourite brands such as Arnotts and Doritos use palm oil sourced unethically from areas that were natural rainforest and have now been destroyed.

09.01.2022 Aha, It might be becoming obvious that Madeleine is now in control of Facebook page, so along with info on our little cafe and our lovely native garden, which is flourishing, you might occasionally find wonderfully informative posts and shares like this one.

09.01.2022 Madeleine and Ian have decided to put Floribunda in mothballs so that we can devote 100% of our energy into developing our seed business. This is not a snap decision but has been made after a lot of thought and agonising. Our patronage has been growing slowly and steadily, but not quickly enough to see a good income developing soon. We thank those clients that came regularly - you have been the reason we continued to trade for this long. We feel that we are simply in the wrong location, Cudgewa is just too far from a regular and reliable customer base. So today is our last day, much to our regret. We tried so hard.

08.01.2022 Thanks to everyone that responded about our chooks. We have arranged for a pleasant home for them: free-range, free-feeding, warm and well cared for - all that they (and we) could ask for. Now it is just a matter of making the quite short trip to their new home - we won't ask them to fly - they will be given a comfortable chauffer driven passage. All the best girls!

07.01.2022 Hi everybody!! We are doing nachos, available tomorrow night 17/03 in store or take away, so you can take them to the gig with you!! All nachos come with our house made salsa, guacamole and sour cream! $10 for one or $20 for two please give us a call on the shop phone 0260774225 to put in a pre order so we can have them ready for you when you arrive!!

03.01.2022 Hi everybody! If you are going to the gig at the cudgewa hall this saturday evening, or even if you are not, we will be open for business and will have delicious nachos available!!

02.01.2022 We are back on track and open again this weekend. For vegetarians, we are doing well. Delicious homemade (as always) Butter Chicken is on the menu for the weekend, served with saffron rice and papadams. Hopefully rain and a cool change too.
