13.01.2022 KYM + RHYS finally got their big day! As March 2020 became an impossible time to get married, this sensible bride pushed her date back to avoid certain disappointment. It turned out to be the best call ever, as we all know what soon followed.... Back to her roots she chose the Dookie quarry, a magical spot, to tie the knot. As I mentioned in a previous post, the wind picked up and the sky’s turned black just as we were trying to set up their ceremony flowers, so my son and I packed them back into the car and drove down the road to @talliswine to ride out the storm. Not much of an inconvenience as it turned out. We sipped a sneaky coffee and hot choccie as we watched the sky’s opened up. Thankfully it was just a passing storm and soon the sky cleared and presented the most epic light. We laid out the flowers, take two and we’re on our merry way. Crossing our fingers that the happy couple continued to have a magic day. Big thank you to the bride and groom and @mister_and_lady for sharing these beautiful photos.
