22.01.2022 Just unearthed this gorgeous old English tile in an old house in East Geelong. Looks a lot like a Rennie MacKintosh and would make a lovely trivet for your teapot. $25

22.01.2022 Here's a few pics from our weekend fossicking at the Maldon Townwide Garage Sale. We unearthed a trove of treasures and are completely smitten with this timeless country town who wears her age and autumnal colours with pride.

20.01.2022 Furniture firm T.H. Brown started making furniture in Adelaide in 1911 and was one of the leading Australian furniture companies throughout the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Now widely collected, Flotsam currently have a pair of turquoise upholstered armchairs for sale on the stall. Although probably due to be reupholstered, they're a fine example of mid century design and are $210 for the pair. (The lovely antique auto tray trolley next to the chairs is featured in Flotsam's sale).

19.01.2022 Flotsam is feeling a little (pea)cocky about our latest haul for the stall! We've found something for almost everyone - whether it be your tea loving Aunty, musical offspring or lazy, sun worshipping sister.

19.01.2022 Keep cool, calm and on time this week with two of Flotsam's favourite retro household items - a breezy blue electric fan, $89, and sturdy wind up alarm clock, $42 (which really does tick tock like the one swallowed by the crocodile in "Peter Pan"!). On the stall now...

19.01.2022 So the Flotsamers are flying away for the summer but our stall at the Mill Markets is jam packed with goodies to keep your home beautiful throughout the holidays. This marble topped cabinet is one such gem which you may want to put on your Santa wishlist. We're hoping to find some rare treasures for you on our travels but in the meantime have a safe and festive holiday season.

This gorgeous old timber church drawer / cabinet once held communion glasses but it's pigeonhole storage would be perfect in your home office, study or kitchen to house your bills, mail or favourite knick knacks. This one almost didn't make it to the stall so snap it up quick before we change our mind...

14.01.2022 So we're back to work after a lovely long summer holiday and are excited about the year of salvaging and selling ahead. During our travels we managed to find a few cracker pieces to start the year with a bang including this swirly green laminate topped timber farmhouse table with 6 matching chairs. Perfect for a smaller kitchen or even as an outdoor setting. Happy 2016 everyone!

06.01.2022 It's been a busy week of treasure hunting and we've picked a selection of our favourite finds for you, including a lovely timber printer's tray, tram canvas and vintage binoculars. All will be hitting the stall in the next few days.

05.01.2022 For those of you who still write letters (and use a quill!) this rare gem might suit you. An antique set of mail scales and decorative metal and glass inkwell makes a gorgeous desk set and will ensure you never pay too much for a stamp again.

04.01.2022 A gorgeous example of the mid century kitchen dresser, this warm wooden beauty features leadlight doors, a plate rack and partial meat safe cupboard. On the stall now for $555.

02.01.2022 Have just managed to squeeze this cute kitchen dresser on the stall after rescuing it from neglect and an almost watery grave. It's blushing pink, cream and green complexion would suit many a vintage or farmhouse interior and at $345 it's almost a steal!
