19.01.2022 How can your coding workshop support my child at school? Throughout the workshop we will be using a lot of language both on and off the computer, children will have the opportunity to review, analyse and respond enhancing communication skills. There will be a lot of opportunity for reflection and problem solving. Team building and communication exercises along with some creative design work. 07.01.2022 Brookton, Pingelly and Beverley families - Im currently planning some creative workshops for April holidays and was interested to find out if there was any expressions of interest to run workshops on Good Friday, Easter Saturday or Easter Monday?

07.01.2022 What is coding? Coding is the programming or the language that is used to build computer programs/software/games its made up of a series of commands, directions, instructions and rules that tells the program to behave in a certain way for instance jump when you press space bar, move the character left or even if this character shoots fire and it hits the other character then it is game over!! Coding is used to tell computers how to behave and what to do and even how to reac...t ! The Intro workshop will introduce this concept to the group, we will explore what coding is and how its relevant in our worlds, through some group work we will explore some of the concepts through play and games and over the four weeks each child will get to build their own basic game using the code and then by the end of the course get to play each others creations.
