18.01.2022 Yesterday we got to kick back and enjoy a bit of time off from work. The team is slowly growing, I’d like to thank Gillian, Erick , Noah and Tristan for helping me achieve our business goal for 2020. In 2021 we will continue to equip ourselves with the best tools available and most importantly, we will continue in educating ourselves with our studies.... From Flourishing Garden Maintenance we would like to wish you all a merry Christmas and an amazing new year.

18.01.2022 Several tips for planting trees or shrubs I follow. - If planting close to a wall/fence, I measure each plant of the wall/fence and the width of each plant to make sure they have enough space to grow, it also presents well. - Dig the hole 2 to 3 times the diameter of the pot.... - I also dig the hole deeper than the depth of the pot, this allows me to losen the soil and the roots to spread comfortably. - Place the plant with the pot inside the hole, this is to check that your happy with the width and depth of the hole - Add potting mix at the base of the hole and mix it with existing soil - Remove the plant from the pot and place it inside the hole. - Check from different angles that the plant is upright and not leaning as this will affect the position it grows. - Fill the rest of the hole with a mixture of potting mix, existing soil and optional curlys manure. - Lightly compress the soil - I normally build a pile of soil like the crater of a volcano, this allows for water to be captured and flows directly to the root of the plant. - Finally I feed the plant with a mixture of water and seasol. Note; planting requirements may vary, depending on soil, slope of the land, draining etc If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call me on 0414-914-127

09.01.2022 Wisteria in the bloom. This magnificent plant creates a beautiful lilac/purple flower with an aromatic smell. They make a great cover in pergolas and gazebos, but keep an eye out for them as they grow vigorously and climb into unwanted areas.... Best to plant in areas that get full sun and keep the soil moist.

08.01.2022 Absolutely stunning ground cover plant, grows best on shady areas. Note; plant away from kids and pets as the Hellebore is poisonous. Hellebores (Helleborus spp.) or ‘Winter Roses’ as they are known, provide an abundance of colour in the winter shaded garden. They are perennial plants often grown under tree canopies, in pots or in sheltered courtyards where they receive filtered light. ... Available in a range of colours from creamy white through to delicate pinks and deep magentas, there are many to choose from to suit any garden. https://www.yates.com.au//hellebor/how-to-grow-hellebores/
