22.01.2022 Cannot put into words the incredible 3 days I have had exploring the world of yin yoga and myofascial release @warrioroneyoga It’s hard to believe that it was over 2 years ago I used to drive past this studio weekly on my way to Hampton ytt @viyett always curious about that studio on the corner! The space has hosted many of my favourite teachers over the years including @rachmellicanyoga @emilyking__ @emzlivelife and @megankatiekillorn so I knew when I booked the training i...t was going to be special. Can not thank @heiditrigar and @monica_yoga for sharing your incredible knowledge and holding the space for all that end of 2020 chi. Rainy days, dark mornings and a chill in the air The good news is that soon, you can practice yoga with me from the comfort of your own home. I’m excited to finally have a dedicated space to teach online. My first offering will be a Thursday morning slow flow, however I would love to hear from you if there’s a yoga class style or time that you would love.... 03.01.2022 ~Autumn~ During this season, the Ayurvedic dosha vata (the air element) dominates, and these last few windy days, sure are proving that Dry skin and lips, a weakened immune system, particularly around the chest and lungs can all be side affects of this season, as are agitation and anxiety.... Our yoga this week will work to balance vata, warming up the body, with movement and the breath, plus rotations and stretches to lubricate and release the joints. We will open the deep muscles around the arms and chest to stimulate our lung meridian, allowing us to release or shed. 02.01.2022 With a full moon last week, I enjoyed teaching a grounded class with lots of fun balances including half moon pose.
