23.01.2022 Introducing the Flowers Vasette ‘Arch of Celebration’ our installation on Melbourne’s iconic architectural landmark, Flinders Street Station unveiled today as part of the Urban Blooms concept in partnership with the City of Melbourne. This week our team have worked overnight to install this magnificent structure which features over 1300 stems of natives, foliage and flowers, installed on an impressive 18m linear archway created by our friends Showtech who have constructed, en...gineered and installed the impressive scaffold armature which stands in front of the Flinders Street archway, the foundation for the floral concept which is our largest and most significant installation to date. The project has been a collaboration between our creative teams, our growers, suppliers and so many of the businesses that have not only been significantly impacted this year due to drought, bushfire and then Covid but who have also supported us for over 30 years. We are pleased to gift the people of Melbourne this breathtaking archway in celebration of Victoria’s re-opening. Urban Blooms runs from Saturday 14 - 27 November, 2020. by @ameliastanwix Urban Blooms locations include Flinders Street Station, the Regent Theatre, Degraves Street, Hosier Lane, the Old Treasury Building, the Melbourne GPO building, the Arts Centre, Crossley Street Chinatown, the Rialto, Southbank, Collins Street and the District Docklands.
