24.01.2022 Happy hump day everyone! Have had some beautiful blooms head out the door this past week to celebrate love, birthdays and new beginnings! Of course Gracie, the Flower Room cat is never too far away keeping an eye on things.

24.01.2022 My first cornflowers for the season Everything about this flower means something good. Wealth, prosperity, fortune and friendship. What more is there to love!

23.01.2022 This sweet arrangement left the doors today. A beautiful young couple are apart because of work and he wanted to let her know he would be home soon. I heard she loves blue flowers and there was a bit of choice at the markets but I opted for the sweet Tweedia meaning peace and harmony. I chose Sunflowers symbolic of dedicated love, white Lisianthus for appreciation and the delicate little Easter Daisies to compliment.

23.01.2022 Happy Monday! This is my kind of coffee....my cafe au lait dahlia is simply stunning in the front garden today. #canberraflowers #nofilterneeded #canberraflorist

23.01.2022 Some of my beautiful blooms that went out this week, complemented by my handmade cards. The gifter had some beautiful messages for the recipients and it was lovely to be a part of such a lovely gesture.

21.01.2022 Sunny blooms to brighten someones day this week.

21.01.2022 Christmas Bush! One of my favourites still looking fabulous in January. A lovely lady on our local buy nothing page was giving away bunches so I leaped at the chance to have a vase for my home but when I got there, she gave me bucket loads. If anyone would like a bunch, send me a PM for pickup from Kaleen. X

20.01.2022 Did someone say bright flowers? Check out these beauties delivered yesterday to brighten a special wifes day from her husband. They were meant to be lazing around on sandy beaches in Vietnam this week but alas...COVID got in the way!

19.01.2022 Here are some of my favourite bunches I prepared today for special mums for their Mothers Day. The first were pretty pink and white blooms finished in soft pastel coloured paper. The second was one for the senses with sweet smelling stock and pink Lillies about to bloom and finally, a more vibrant bunch with deep coloured burgundy snap dragons and lovely bold chrysanthemums. Wishing all mums a very happy day tomorrow and Thankyou for all that you do

19.01.2022 Ohh my dahlias! Such amazing colours but such a shame the cold mornings of Canberra affect you so.

19.01.2022 What a perfect Canberra day for a wedding today! The beautiful bouquet comprised of the most stunning colour of protea, ornamental kale, blushing brides and freesias for their sweet smell and the button holes were blushing brides and native foliage. #canberraweddings #canberraflorist #canberraflowerdelivery #canberraweddings #canberrawedding

19.01.2022 Green flowers. They represent life, nature and rejuvenation but they also send a message of hope and shows the recipient that everything will be alright. They are also very intriguing to Gracie the flower room cat!

18.01.2022 Real weddings - Easter Sunday wedding Todays wedding had lovely, crisp white roses, white lisianthus and different types of eucalyptus for contrast. With a boutonnire to complement, the end result was a simple but very elegant and classy ensemble. Congratulations to the Bride and Groom!

17.01.2022 Meet Gracie the Flower Room cat. The best assistant one can have! She always gives her seal of approval for new blooms, takes a front row seat on the table every time and will rub up against me if things arent coming together as planned to give me encouragement. Oh I love her so! #floristcat #canberraweddingflorist #canberraflorist #canberraflowers #canberraflowerdelivery

17.01.2022 A lovely bright bunch of natives to brighten someones day left the door today. Not only are they stunning and bright, they are also long lasting and resilient. With the right care and fresh water in the vase every couple of days - cut native flowers can easily last over 2 weeks. Beauty and bang for your buck!

16.01.2022 Real weddings - sneak peak I had the opportunity to do the table decorations for a lovely couples wedding at historic Lanyon Homestead on the outskirts of Canberra last weekend. In addition, a last minute call up to decorate the cake provided a new experience for me which I was excited to do. The colours were beautiful - reds, bright pinks and coffee coloured flowers paired with plenty of seeded eucalyptus suited the location perfectly. More photos to come soon.

16.01.2022 A bright native bunch mixed with gerbera’s and lilies that even Miss Shaniqua approved of (can you spot her?)

15.01.2022 A big bunch of bright blooms was on order today for a special someone! I loved the bright faces of the gerberas, the sweet smell of the stocks but my, my...those fluffy white scabiosas were something else! #canberraflorist #canberraflorists #brightblooms #canberralocals

15.01.2022 When I made this arrangement yesterday I looked at it and thought I really love it! Not that I dont love all the other arrangements I do (because if I didnt, they wouldnt leave the house) but this one had so many elements I loved. The deep coloured red carnations, the unusual coffee coloured chrysanthemums, the pretty and delicate Easter daisies around the edge and the gold ribbon for a bit of bling!

15.01.2022 Our reception flowers for a beautiful wedding at the Hyatt this weekend. With a burgundy, peach and cream flower palette, the arrangements looked stunning in this amazing room set up by Govinda Events and Decoration Hire.

15.01.2022 Here are some pictures from a recent wedding I had the privilege of preparing flowers for. The flowers were a beautiful mix of natives and roses in burgundy, cream and peach with a hint of pink. Oh my these were lovely! I loved the colour, texture and movement of these blooms.

13.01.2022 Beautiful box arrangement of pink, yellow and white gerberas for a special someone today.

13.01.2022 Delphiniums symbolising beauty, deity, peace and stability in two shades of blue - the colour of the sea and sky which is deeply connected with the depth of soul and spiritual stability and with sincere emotions. Complemented with various white and cream flowers including: Stocks symbolising a contented existence, Lillies for sympathy, Carnations for strength, chrysanthemums for a noble one and with blue/green orchids for blessings - I hoped this arrangement was a touching tribute for a much loved patriarch who recently passed.

13.01.2022 When simplicity is the thing. Our beautiful bride on Saturday was after very classic bouquets for her and her daughter. Beautiful ivory roses for her with a buttonhole for the groom to match and the softest pink roses for her girl all finished with camellia leaves. A nice bright pink throwaway bouquet was also prepared to complement the trio. So beautiful!

10.01.2022 Loved this colour combination for a delivery this week. Using Australian grown roses from Victoria made them extra special!

09.01.2022 Sending words of encouragement and some beautiful flowers to a special friend or loved one can be just what they need when they are unsure of themselves. It can be the boost they need to fly their wings and soar high! For a delivery this week, this was the case so I selected Snap Dragons that symbolise grace under pressure and inner strength in trying circumstances; Chrysanthemums for support and positivity; and white Lillies to show how much they mean to them.

08.01.2022 Sneak peak - May wedding For the wedding today, my gorgeous bride wanted bouquets that were simple, elegant and had a touch of pink for hers! We were thinking calla lilies initially but tulips definitely met the brief given the soft pink shade they come in to compliment the brides babes dresses! There was no extra foliage and no fuss. The end result was just beautiful! All the best Nikki and Tim,

08.01.2022 Today I made one of the hardest (emotionally) arrangements so far. My dear father-in-law passed yesterday - although unwell for sometime, it came suddenly towards the end. But it was through my flowers that I did find some peace. I am not sure if it was the crisp white of the gerberas, the sweet scent of the jonquils, the new beginnings I could see coming from the freesias and Peruvian Lillies that will bloom new life in the coming days or the single yellow flower to symbolise the joy that he brought to the many family members and friends he had. Denny - you will always have a special place in my heart. #canberraflorist

07.01.2022 Mothers...what would we do without them! I have just had my mum stay with me for a few days and there was nothing better than crying through romantic comedies, strolling through garden centres and planning our English style gardens! But alas it was time for her head home so wanted to send some beautiful flowers with her that included locally grown asters, coffee coloured Big Mumma chrysanthemums and Lillies to brighten her home. Love you Mumma, x

06.01.2022 Happy Friday! here are some my favourite arrangements from the past few days in all sizes. The star of the show was the most stunning apricot coloured gerbera with pink centres and lemon petals on the reverse. I also got back on the quilling tools making cards for your lovely messages,

06.01.2022 Losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. No truer word has been said so when I was contacted by my lovely customer to prepare an arrangement for their dear friends, I wanted it to be perfect. I used a mix of flowers to express a range of meanings and they include: Pink carnations to signify underlying love for a mother; White lilies for love, unity, feminity and transience; Peruvian lilies for their strong friendship; ... White chrysanthemums symbolic of loyalty and devoted love. They are also the traditional flower for Mothers Day; and Purple lisianthus for her beauty and appreciation by all who knew her. See more

05.01.2022 Beautiful box arrangement of pink, yellow and white gerbera’s for a special someone today.

05.01.2022 Celebrating a special someones birthday can always be done with a big, bright bunch of blooms to tell them how much light they bring to your world. The bright yellows, bold oranges and electric purples sure made this bouquet one to notice. I loved making this special delivery on behalf of their loved ones.

02.01.2022 Australian natives! They come in a range of colours and lighten any room and suit any occasion! What is even better about them is they last a long time too. This special bunch was to celebrate a lovely, soon to be mummas birthday. The lucky recipient has a connection to my grandmas home town who also happens to be my Chief Vase Collector Extraordinaire! It was a match made in heaven for sure.

01.01.2022 When roses are the thang! These gorgeous blooms sure made a special someone’s day.
