19.01.2022 WHAT DO YOU WANT?! Every time I ask a client this I think of that scene in the notebook You know the one? But seriously, do you know what you really want? So many women say they want 'financial freedom' or 'lots of money', but when I ask them what that looks like they have no idea. It looks different for everyone! ... The thing is, if you can't get real damn specific about what it is that you want, how can you achieve it? Would you go to a restaurant and ask the waiter for something to eat? No! You'd ask for the specific meal that meets your needs! (Vegan tacos plz) Does financial freedom mean $100,000 in the bank or $1,000,000 in the bank? My invitation to you is to get crazy clear. Get juicy with the specifics. Once you're clear on the destination it'll be waaaayyy easier to get there. When thinking about what you want, use these steps: 1. What specifically do you want? 2. Why do you want it? 3. How will you know when you've got it? It's so dang powerful when women share and speak their desires. So, I'd love to hear in the comments: what do YOU want?! 14.01.2022 FAILURE IS ONLY FEEDBACK This is a) true And b) my life motto... Whenever I notice myself resisting taking courageous action or fearing failure, I remind myself that whatever the result, it’s simply feedback. Something to learn. I don’t actually believe ‘failure’ exists I mean, what is failure but a step closer to success? As I head into this week, bringing my 6-week money mindset course, Magnetic Money into the world I’m releasing all attachments to the end result. Sure, I have goals, but I’m not *attached* to filling a certain amount of places, or bringing in a certain amount of cash. My role is just to help as many people as I can to feel confident and empowered with money. That doesn’t always look like reaching the vanity metrics. I like to treat my life like a game. I’m literally just giving everything a shot! Some things work, some things don’t. That’s just part of the game! So whatever the outcome, I’ll have more information to play with next time! 08.01.2022 MONEY DOESN’T MATTER Yep, it really doesn’t. When I’m on my death bed, I sure as hell won’t be thinking about all the money I made! ... I’ll be remembering the experiences I had and the people I met! In Atomic Habits, James Clear said we optimise for what we measure. This hit me. Money is easy to measure! And we should certainly be measuring it! But it isn’t the ONLY thing we should be measuring. Or what we should be prioritising. What about fulfilment? Impact? Quality of life? Joy? There’s so much noice out there to just ‘make more money’, ‘hit 10k months’, ‘become a millionaire’. The other day, someone encouraged me to raise my coaching prices, without knowing anything about the impact I want to have, my story or who I work with. I’m not here to make millions of dollars, I’m here to create change and support people in living lives they’re in love with. (And, making millions in the process is so ok with me ) I teach my clients how to use money as a TOOL for creating an outstanding quality of life and impact the world in ways they never dreamed of.
