24.01.2022 Brrrrrrrrr its getting COLD!!! Here is a few pictures our client sent us of them enjoying the wood fire burner install we did for them today. 24.01.2022 BOOM!!!! We have been quiet on our social media platforms of late. Keeping busy which is a #blessing!!! Heres another reno wrapped up for our builders @focusrenovations . Im really really stoked we were apart of this one. So much blood, sweat and tears went into this job and it was Such a technical installation plumbing wise, making sure everything was mm perfect! Working with some really quality products and some really top shelf design aspects that required that extra bit of finesse on our part. Super Proud of team!

24.01.2022 Heres something that puts the tech in Flow-Tech plumbing, this smart bit of kit allows you to install a Bluetooth activated shut off valve on the supply to your home, which also gives you flow readings, pressure readings and usage all on a neat little app. It then has 3 detection devices that you can place in your laundry, in vanity cabinets, or in an area where there is potential for water leaks like a storage room with a hot water unit or water tank. We often find flexib...le hoses in the bathrooms are the main cause of water damage to properties, so we would definitively utilise them there. Lets say you love getting away, your in the caravan more than you are home. Your sipping a sauv blanc looking over the sunset and you get an alarm on your phone.....one of the detection devices has picked up water in the bottom of your vanity!!!!!. You instantly activate your shut off valve from your phone and your done! You can deal with a minor plumbing issue that would be under $150 to repair! No coming home to water running down the driveway, no wet soggy carpets, no damaged vanities, no inconvenient insurance claims for repairs!!!! 16.01.2022 Heres a water tank pad we installed for a church on bribie island today. We are installing the tanks and associated plumbing/drainage soon. Its important to make sure the foundation is solid as there are 3 x 9000L rainwater tanks that are going to sit on this pad. We installed a crusher dust/cement blend and layered it in 40mm stages, compacting each layer, 5 in total following with a screed over the final layer to get it dead level. This wont move . Legionnaires isnt just a type of hat.....its a potentially life threatening disease. A bacteria that can grow in stagnant or unused/not highly used areas of the plumbing systems in your home. As stated in the video, showers that are unused are at risk of a higher contamination. ... If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to contact us for information. 06.01.2022 Had a good days work today, connecting the roof drainage from a new shed to the stormwater mains so the shed can be signed off for council. Always love it when we get to use the big boy toys. We do our best to leave minimal damage when excavating. Levelling out the soil and using a rake to get rid of all the stones, meaning your lawn will be back to normal as quick as possible.

06.01.2022 Check out this beauty! We recently had a client who wanted to get their rainwater tank back up and running. They had a budget submersible pump originally which only lasted a few years and a mains/rainwater automatic changeover which was failing aswell. We installed this Grundfos JPRain 2 system. A great bang for buck system. This will easily service a couple of toilets/garden taps and a washing machine. We recommended an exterior pump system for a few reasons. 1. Serviceab...ility; after this grundfos unit has had many years of running life and needs a service at some point, repairs are easily carried out because of its easy accessibility, saving you $$$$ 2. Wear and tear; an exterior pump generally last longer then a submersible one because it isnt submersed in water full time, its in a more relaxed environment, especially with a cover protecting it. 3. Cost; This system has 3 components all in one, the pump body, pressure control system and rainwater/mains automatic changeover device, it is actually more cost effective to purchase this full unit then replace all 3 seperate components involved in a submersible system. Again saving you $$$ 4. Its Grundfos; we highly recommend and stand by all of our grundfos systems. They are in a league of their own in quality. German engineering at its finest. With outstanding warranties, service life and readily available spare parts. Grundfos are a cost effective solution for all pumping needs.
