And the construction commencement deadline will be extended from three months to six months for all eligible contracts signed on or after June 4, 2020. At the program’s end, the HomeBuilder scheme is expected to have supported construction work to about 42,000 homes. The grant will be reduced from $25,000 to $15,000 for those looking to build a home or significantly renovate an existing one.

13.01.2022 Solar Inspections: I was around back in 2008 Installing Solar panels there was a renewables boom In Australia - the promise and introduction to renewables of scale to the Domestic Industry was booming. The good:... Being passionate about the planet and a big advocate for renewable energy systems, It was great to see the federal Government take a positive stance. People really incentivised to think about energy consumption combined with government assistance gave birth to a new sector and innovation grew. The bad: Like With any government roll out it’s usually rushed with process designed but unable to keep up with demands. That being said from an Installers perspective - this led to an Influx of installations with a lack of follow up inspections or compliance’s. Carrying out Inspections would highlight quite a few issues that not many people would be able pick from the ground. If you Have a Solar System that was Installed over 10 years ago ! it may be worth having it inspected. DM to book an Inspection

11.01.2022 TIME MACHINE Working on some On some of Melbournes oldest Establishments is a pure joy - Travelling in a time MACHINE. I feel privileged to work at some of the houses owned by the National Trust. Usually it's for some slight Maintenance works such as Disconnecting a chandelier for servicing or repairs - Usually I bring my dad with me - He loves and antique or two ... This building being Over 200 years old and passed through manY hands and owners till it has finally been left in the care of the State. A majority of their funding comes from contributions fro the public and other Entities. It most definitely proves challenging working on such an old establishment and fixtures sometimes over 100 years old . But then agin I thrive on the challenge.
