25.01.2022 !!!!!!!!!!!! BRAND NEW ADDITION !!!!!!!!!!! We have three brand new baby emus, come and see them at play. Sam is very proud of himself, such a great dad.

25.01.2022 Bluey is still missing and we are concerned that he won't survive in the wild, hopefully he has found a loving family, but if you do see him flying around we would love to have him home. Please share this post.

24.01.2022 Holidays are here again, bring the family and check out our fantastic birds and animals. Bring your own picnic and watch the kangaroos, emus and cassowary as you eat. But please do not bring avocado in here as it can kill birds.

20.01.2022 Here are some more members of our family that reside at the Sanctuary. Chloe, our German Shepherd dog and her brother Thomas, the pussy cat. (Tommy is scared of birds !!) We also have Rosie, the Galah and Dexter the Quaker. Bluebell, the blue Quaker and Stanley, the green Quaker, built a huge nest and laid eggs. Unfortunately Bluebell became very sick just as she started sitting on her eggs. Stanley sat on them for a while but sadly no babies survived. They are now making their nest even bigger so maybe the next lot of eggs will hatch successfully. Please share this post.

18.01.2022 Holidays are here again, bring your children to see our new baby emus, they are growing really fast and still very cute. We are open from 8am to 4pm, 7 days a week.

17.01.2022 Hi everyone, we are back. Our computer died again and we have been offline for some time. The people that have accepted our $49.00 Family pass for June may still use the pass until the end of July including the school holidays. Just print your pass and it will be honored for July. Hope to see you here soon.

15.01.2022 A photo of David, the owner of the Sanctuary, at home trying to relax and watch TV. The Eclectus has other ideas though, he wants to play, not watch TV. The other photo shows David tying a ribbon around one of my teddies for me, a very obliging husband. Come and meet David and have a macaw experience with him. Please share this post.

13.01.2022 Today we lost a most beautiful friend to cancer. We will never forget you Gini, Miss you so much, but you are now in a better place with Jesus, your Lord. Gene, thank for being with your beautiful wife throughout her illness, and taking such incredibly wonderful care of Gini right till she left . Our thoughts, love and prayers go out to you and all your family. Rest in peace our wonderful friend.

09.01.2022 Our birds were not to sure of what this monster was when it arrived on their food table. It didn't take long for one adventurous bird to bite it and found out how yummy it was. some of the birds were not convinced and wouldn't go near it. Lots of other funny things happen here at the Sanctuary so come and visit us soon. Please share this post.

03.01.2022 Have a look at these gorgeous birds, if you come to see our Sanctuary and arrive by 0930, you will be able to watch the morning feeding. The table is usually covered in birds from tiny finches up to Eclectus parrots. They all share the food and mostly get on very well. The feeding is really worth seeing. Please share this post.
