21.01.2022 Did you get to go to the 2019 George Street Festival in East Fremantle? Here's a teaser for some of the imagery we captured on the day.

10.01.2022 Good evening, Perth. This is a momentous eve. Perth City Skyline, as taken from under 45 meters (150 feet), to account for Helicopter traffic to and from Royal Perth Hospital, on the evening/dusk on June 4th, 2017. ... What a pretty sight.

08.01.2022 We had a beautiful sunset today in Perth, Western Australia. This is looking north at Leighton Dog Beach towards Swanbourne Restricted airspace in front of the SAS Barracks. Lucky we weren't flying up there, maybe they'd shoot us down with a Stinger missile or something hehe.. :)

07.01.2022 Hard to imagine in this day and age, where air cover is a crucial part of modern warfare, that "air cover" was an entirely NOVEL concept in WW1, even to the point that in the beginning of WW1, aircraft were used merely for reconnaissance. The fact that nobody even considered using them as weapons of war is highlighted by the fact that when that changed happened, it was because of a glitch in the daily routine - where German and British airmen would pass eachother in the sky i...n opposite directions, until one day, one of the German airmen had the audacity to point a loaded pistol at the passing British pilots, and began firing. That was when modern "air warfare" as we know it began. Also super interesting to consider that as it did begin, the sort of aircraft that men were flying back in the day were basically PROTOTYPES, and at that time humans had only the most BASIC grasp of what it took to make an aircraft and why they flew. "Manned flight" was less than 20 years old, and within the four years of WW1, the quality and precision of the aircraft moved in leaps and bounds spanning entire generations by modern technical standards. Here's a great video about the British "Bristol Scout", a lesser known WW1 aircraft since the "Sopwith" brand seemed to soak up all the attention. **NOTE** The video is actually produced by arguably the best WW1 historian and scholar on YouTube, "Indy Naidell" (yes, his name is "Indiana", like Indiana Jones!), who produces a weekly video about "The Great War" that is both educational, entertaining, and engaging at the same time. THE best WW1 historian on YouTube.

06.01.2022 For anyone reading here who is a drone operator, we would really appreciate you filling out this survey. Thanks!

Here's to the better weather for drone pilots, and hoping it means we've just about turned the corner on the wet windy winter weather. BigBird out.
