25.01.2022 New Village Babies class Wednesday at 10:15am! We know our babies (and their grown ups!) have missed a lot of socialising this year, and all our classes have booked out really fast this term. We are excited share we are opening a new class on a Wednesday from 10:15am to 11:00am. This class will run for the remaining 6 weeks of Term 4 (fees adjusted pro-rata from the full 9 week unit). We only have 8 spots available, so if you have a bub 0 - 17 months then we would love to meet you! Free trial classes available, however spots are very limited and first preference is given to students who are enrolled. 25.01.2022 Two more of our fabulous team enjoying a fun last week of term 4. Christmas week classes are the best!

25.01.2022 Our team have been working super hard to get ready for Term 4, we are so excited to see you all back this week! After a 6 month hibernation our larger backyard play equipment has returned (other shared toys will still be packed away for the time being). Anyone waiting on site will need to check in via our COVID safe register. After such a bumpy 2020, it's with a huge smile on our face we say 'Welcome to Term 4!' The Flying Fox Studios crew.

23.01.2022 Hooray, our School Holiday Workshop program is underway! We are all ready for a fun, creative and engaging program full of art, science, craft, engineering, drawing, painting and more

22.01.2022 With only three weeks until school holidays, it's almost time to book for Term 4! Bookings will open tomorrow morning (August 31st) at 7:30am. All Art, STEM and Kindermsuik classes will be available for booking. Due to our COVID safe classroom plan, some age groups have reduced class sizes and may fill even faster than usual. So make sure to enrol early to secure your preferred class day and time! The whole Flying Fox Studios team is looking forward to another term full of music, art, building, engineering, and a whole lot of fun!

22.01.2022 The theme for our school age art classes this term focuses on representing people. Right from our Preppies in Art Explorers, to our High School Art classes (who have completed some of these fantastic drawings this week) we are exploring lots of different styles, media and materials. From mixing skin tone colours, realistic drawings, simple sketches, cartooning and all things in-between. We are loving watching skills grow and creativity blossom!

11.01.2022 Our high school art students have been using oil paints to create some fantastic landscape artworks over the past few weeks. How wonderful is this Uluru painting, such atmosphere in the colours!

09.01.2022 Our team are aware of the most recent restrictions announced in QLD, effective 8am this morning. As we are a business, and remain running under a strict COVID safe plan, all classes are still running as normal. Please remember, if you or your child are displaying any COVID related symptoms, please do not attend our studio. Our teachers and staff continue to maintain a strict cleaning schedule, and we ask all parents and carers to continue to socially distance while waiting for classes to finish. 08.01.2022 A little person gave me this gift today. I stopped what I was doing and we chatted about where it had come from and the different shades of green. It reminded me about the importance of moments and that our little ones show us love in random ways. Miss Marianne

03.01.2022 Our Fox Blocks Groundwork class is loving their 'Build me a Story' unit this term. Solving storybook problems with the power of STEM! This week is Frozen week and as a special treat, the class has finished with sensory ice play, combined with LEGO ice castles. So very cool!

03.01.2022 Well that’s a wrap! After 12 fun and fabulous years, Miss Marianne taught her last Kindermusik classes at the studio today.

02.01.2022 With the recent announcement of lockdown restrictions ending at 12pm today, all classes scheduled for Thursday afternoon will be running as normal, subject to COVID safe guidelines and mask wearing as required. Students who missed classes earlier in the week will be notified of replacement class dates when we have them confirmed. Thank you everyone for your support this week, it's been a bumpy one!
