20.01.2022 Please enjoy this lyric video for the song, Beautiful Shadows. The video was made by Benjamin Quilliam. The recording features a sumptuous string and piano arrangement by Mel Churchill. This well-loved tune is part of the forthcoming album and songbook titled, 'By Your Fire'. I hope you find encouragement that this world is indeed a beautiful shadow of things divine, and that we are surrounded by saints who themselves are beautiful shadows. The lyrics were inspired by the residents at Flynn Lodge and Old Timers, Alice Springs, who shared in fellowship and worship with a delight and faith that defied the years. It is also inspired by our own Kerry Lowing who was not just a worker or manager in aged care, but truly walked alongside those who lived in there. Beautiful shadows, one and all. Blessings, Steve
