25.01.2022 TRINITY BAY TO MEET KIRWAN Trinity Bay SHS will meet Kirwan SHS of Townsville in the final of the Struddies Sports Cup Grand Final on Wednesday 28th August at Trinity Bay. Kirwan are confident of overcoming the travel issue and have arrived in Cairns a day early to prepare. Trinity Bay SHS will be counting on a strong display of passionate support from their fans and urge everyone to get down to the school's field and cheer on the boys. Trinity Bay SHS will be relying on big games from their big men Sunny Tauave, Corey Child and Robbie Sambo to create space for the speedy Gideon Gela and Bernard Lewis to show their wares. Kick Off is at 1.00pm

24.01.2022 COWBOYS GIRLS CHALLENGE Several schools from Cairns have travelled to Townsville to participate in the Cowboys Girls Challenge. Djarragun College,Trinity Bay SHS, Woree SHS, Cairns West SS, Balaclava SS, And Parramatta Park SS all made the trek to take on schools from through out North Queensland at the event. In the Open Division, Djarragun College finished top of Pool 2, with Trinity Bay SHS coming in second, while Woree SHS came in 3rd in Pool 1. In the Under 13 division, Balaclava and Parramatta Park finished 3rd and 4th respectively in Pool 1, while Cairns West finished 4th in Pool 2. All girls should be congratulated for their fantastic efforts!

23.01.2022 Heartbreakingly NSW CHS have scored in the final minute to defeat Qld 26-22. Qld had to contend with a mounting penalty count and crippling injury toll, but were run down. The boys should be very proud

03.01.2022 DJARRAGUN WINS 7'S COMP Djarragun College recently travelled to Townsville to take on other remote area indigenous colleges in a 7's tournament played at the NQ Cowboys home ground of 1300SMILES Stadium. Despite travelling on game day, the Djarragun players won both matches, accounting for NPA College 10 tries to 7, before then defeating Palm Island's Bwgcolman College 9-5. The students were then treated to tour of the Cowboys training facilities, giving them great insight into the amount of resources poured into an NRL club. Congratulations boys!!!
