18.01.2022 Finally got to drag the scope out tonight & rewarded with delightful views of Omega Centuri, jewel box, Centurus A & Sombrero Galaxy. Between the storms tonight ! What have you had a look at during your Isolation ?

18.01.2022 Great to start getting some clear skies again & what better way to celebrate than with a journey through the Leo/Virgo galaxy cluster It’s great to be able to get 3 or 4 Galaxies in a low/moderate powered (60x) field of view.

16.01.2022 So, who has seen the Geminids meteor shower this year ? Visible tonight from about 9:30pm but best around midnight to 2 am ! I saw 15 this morning from 4 to 4:30am.

15.01.2022 Well, everyone has been asking, what will we be doing for the: Great Saturn - Jupiter Conjunction ? Well, weather permitting we will hold a viewing at the freshwater end of lower freshwater rd at 6:30pm on Monday the 21st opposite the scouts den on the rise. There is a clear view to the west from there and it’s easy to access. @nightskysecrets will bring a few different scopes & you can bring yours !
