21.01.2022 UPDATE It is with great sadness that we advise that we are cancelling the Far North QLD Youth Cup 2020 due to the uncertainty of restrictions on travel and sport for the remainder of the year due to COVID-19. The FNQ Youth Cup 2020, now in its third year, was destined to be our biggest ever event, with teams from all over Australia and NZ joining us for another epic football tournament in tropical paradise. But it was not to be, and we are gutted.... We can only look forward however and in the spirit of positivity we will still ensure our CFA players will not miss out on the football fun, with an exclusive 3v3 tournament and pizza party put on in the September holidays for our players only - so we can still celebrate the joy football brings with our amazing community. As for the Far North QLD Youth Cup 2021? IT'S ON BABY! 17.01.2022 FINALS FEVER! What an epic two days of competitive football we've had so far at the FNQ Youth Cup 2021! Tomorrow we find ourselves in finals football mode and we can't be more pumped! See you all tomorrow at The Grounds Cairns and don't forget to follow Caravella Football Academy who will be live streaming the Grand Finals in each age division! Well done to all teams!

08.01.2022 FNQ YOUTH CUP 2020 When teams from all over the country visit us to play in the Far North QLD Youth Cup, we think it's important to introduce them to our region with a Welcome to Country which has been wonderfully performed by Carl Fourmile. On behalf of the Gimuy Walubara Yidinji - Traditional owners of the Cairns area south of the Barron River - Carl has kept the crowd entertained with interactive traditional dances as well as offering a background of the region. And ev...en though we've had to revise the FNQ Youth Cup 2020 as a "Queensland only" event, we still have a fantastic group of teams entering which we'll start announcing soon. We look forward to having Carl join us again for another fantastic carnival of football. Want to join us at the FNQ Youth Cup this year? We are taking registrations for all advanced teams outside of FNQ. It will be a mega 3 days of football at The Grounds Cairns and with a heavily reduced team fee, we hope to see as many teams join us as possible so we can celebrate football after a crazy year. And while we're disappointed we'll miss the usual suspects from Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and our new friends from NZ, we know there's enough talent in QLD to still put on a great show to get us by until 2021! Registrations close September 18th! Come join us in Tropical Far North Queensland for some elite junior football and an all-round good time.
