06.01.2022 Project Grant News We are finalising support from three #Australian #RotaryClubs, as well as their respective district organisations, for our application for a Rotary Global Grant for our #SveyLeu Village Water Project. The total funding, which is supported by generous donors and fundraising events in each of the states, is $135,000. In the meantime, following an application which we made late last year, we have received an additional grant, from a philanthropic trust of $35...,000. The funding is an extension of the scope already planned for the larger #GlobalGrant project and will provide secure and safe water for the villages of #Tapour and #Otakuk. The seven deep bore wells have already been completed - just in time before the heavy rainfall began in late August. Our Project Supervisor, Ly Sina sent us the charming picture. Work will start shortly on school drinking water systems (based on membrane filtration). See more
