We were so excited to watch this guy go from stre...ngth to strength but will now have to watch him continue to develop for his new owner Celia Mackay "Celamba Speckle Park". At just 17 months of age he already ticks so many of the boxes for traits we strive to breed and what we believe will have this breed continuing to gain market strength and industry credibility. He is long and thick with an extremely broad top-line and big hindquarters. Standing well balanced on great feet and legs, his natural eye appeal is hard to go past. Possibly one of his best traits, which we put high importance on, is his unbeatably naturally quiet temperament. Weighing 44kgs at birth, Myostatin Free, Red Gene Free and Homozygous polled, He will be going into the centre for domestic and export semen collection later this month. Celia can be contacted on 0428 275 375 or you can contact Grant on 0428 726 771 as we will be assisting with any semen inquiries. Celia also encourages any commercial breeders interested in the bull or further more the breed to make contact as she would like to see this bull get out into the industry and perform in pure or crossbreeding operations. He is sired by JSF Unmarked 2D and out of our most prolific donor female Battalion Heartbreaker M1. His dam has one of the best udders we have bred in either of our breeds and delivers the good ones every time. We have a bunch of young ET calves hitting the ground by multiple sires and consistency is definitely a strong point for her. Utah's Full ET sister sold earlier this year at the scone sale, reaching the top price of $30,000 to Baw Baw Speckle Park. Initially having no intentions of selling Utah, he will now be most certainly missed here at Battalion especially by our son Travis, who at the age of 5, has been mates and shared a bond since before Utah was even put on a halter.
