18.01.2022 A very interesting read...while most landlords tend to go private because they believe it will save them money, the cost and losses when things go wrong are usually enormous! 04.01.2022 I have a tenant who has fallen on hard times. She would be grateful for any comics, picture books, pencils, paper to suit age 8-15. This will really help over the coming school holidays - items can be dropped off to our office - 1 Essex Street, Wembley. 03.01.2022 With our hard border now down here in Western Australia, we’re seeing unprecedented demand for good quality rental stock in Perth, Western Australia. Our leasing manager Sam Clark says that multiple applications by prospective residential tenants on rental properties are becoming the norm. Asking weekly rents are also seeing steady increases across most Perth suburbs. We’ve put together a couple of pertinent questions for Perth property investors. Can the rent be increased ...on my existing tenant? No during the declared period of the Covid-19 pandemic, rents can not increase for Western Australian tenants under existing leases whether periodic or fixed. The Mark McGowan government has extended the moratorium on rental evictions until March 31st, 2021. We anticipate a return to market rent increases after that time. My tenant is not paying their rent, can I evict them? No due to the moratorium on rental evictions your tenant can not be evicted for failure to pay rent.
