18.01.2022 I would like to thank those responsible in making the training possible During my travels both this year and last, I was privileged to meet Apostolos Mourtis the President of the Police officers’ union of the prefecture of Imathia, on both occasions. Upon my previous trip to Greece last year I was invited to Veroia where I engaged in three days of training with the OPKE (SWAT) and DEA teams. It has been very successful for both the Police units and myself. This year I was a...gain invited by the General Headquarters of ELLAS to undertake approved training of multiple units of the Police Force in varying areas of Central Makedonia outside of Thessaloniki. In total I was able to attend and train 6 different prefectures including the DEA and SWAT (OPKE) teams. I have been honoured by the acceptance obtained by not only the serving members but the Headquarters also. It was an absolute privilege to have been able to train and demonstrate some alternative methods and to have been welcomed as I was.
