09.01.2022 If the HUMAN EYE was a CAMERA... & the retina was a 35mm sensor; We have 6 million pixels (cones) that see colour & 124 million that see black and white in our peripheral vision. A healthy eye can focus from about 8cm to infinity. Frames per second is a tricky one. It seems that the eye can send up to 1000 fps to the brain, however it processes these images at about 100 fps. The aperture (iris & pupil at 8mm) would be f3.5.... The eye has a cone of visual attention (or angle of view) of about 55 degrees, equal to a 43mm lens. =) See more
