23.01.2022 Today TasRail took part in the official handover ceremony for the locomotive ZA6 to the Tasmanian Transport Museum at Glenorchy. A fitting milestone in the year of the 150th anniversary of rail in Tasmania. The TTMS will restore the locomotive, preserving this piece of rail heritage for generations to come to enjoy.

19.01.2022 Commencing tomorrow, TasRail contractors will be undertaking vital infrastructure work on the Western Line in the vicinity of Watcombe Beach at Penguin. 17.01.2022 Mitch McPherson's honest and relatable presentation really resonated across all of our sites. We are passionate about the physical and mental health of everyone on the TasRail team and Mitch's lived experience has provided an ideal avenue for keeping that conversation going. We are looking forward to building on our positive relationship with SPEAK UP Stay ChatTY. A remarkable man with a message that everyone needs to hear.

03.01.2022 What has 2280bhp and wears a pair of blue and red footy shorts? A TasRail locomotive! To coincide with Tracksafe Rail R U OK Day tomorrow, TasRail has teamed up with our good friends at SPEAK UP Stay ChatTY to help spread the positive mental health message to Tasmanian communities. At TasRail every day is a day to have a conversation and check in with a work mate, friend or family member. It’s the culture we embrace 365 days of the year. We hope our 'conversation train' (TR14) will remind people that It’s actually okay to say 'I’m struggling a bit today and I would appreciate a chat'. There's always more to say than R U OK, but it's a fantastic place to start .
