23.01.2022 Do you know your obligations when it comes to holding an Annual General Meeting (AGM) during COVID-19? AGM's play an important role for a not-for-profit. It's an opportunity to engage with members, reflect on the previous year, consider financials, elect directors and much more. But when you're used to conducting these meetings face-to-face, it might seem daunting or confusing to move it all online...... Luckily, Gilbert + Tobin Careers Charities + Social Sector team have created a free, user-friendly app that helps charities and not-for-profits understand the requirements for holding AGMs (including if you're affected by COVID-19 restrictions). The app will help you answer the following questions for your organisation: - Does my organisation need to hold an AGM? - Can my organisation postpone its AGM? - Can my organisation hold its AGM remotely using technology? Try it yourself here: http://ow.ly/uxa050B95Uo #CommunityTip #FRRR #AustralianCharities
