25.01.2022 Spend a relaxing weekend in the Boyne Valley, the scenery is stunning at the moment with the river and creeks flowing, the landscape is glowing with green and the days will start to cool down now autumn is coming. Come and visit Ubobo Kaye will look after you at Follywood Guest House.

23.01.2022 Just farewelled by guests who attended for the Just Rock Gladstone Rock n Roll weekend. Great to see the hall across the road alive and kicking with colourful costumes and great rock n roll bands. The crowd, I heard came from all over even NSW. Ubobo sure is a rockin place3.

11.01.2022 Busy weekend at Follywood. Just had a bride and bridesmaids get dressed and have photos taken here before wedding in Ubobo. Now have celebrant and photographer staying here. Markets at Builyan tomorrow so have been cooking tomato relish and lime & coconut butter to sell at the markets then tomorrow a quick turnover for new guests arriving to stay tomorrow night.

09.01.2022 Kaye is a friendly and helpful host who has a long association with Ubobo and the surrounding district and she has interesting tales of local history. The room is fully self contained and charmingly furnished and Kaye has internet access. "Follywood" is a nicely renovated Queenslander on a 5 acre corner block on the southern side of town beside the Gladstone - Monto Road. Ubobo is a small and charming village of only 20 or 30 people so there are limited facilities besides the small local store and mobile phone access may be patchy. The road from Gladstone is bitumen, but if you are coming from Miriam Vale or Monto the roads are unpaved and hilly with narrow bridges and cattle grids, so expect to see some cattle on the roads. Four wheel drive is not essential but would be advised in wet weather. Phil.

07.01.2022 Another huge weekend at Follywood Guesthouse B&B. Congratulations to Boyne Valley Lions on celebrating 40 years - great night at the Ubobo Lions Den with raffles, BBQ, great music and company and thanks for choosing Follywood B&B for accommodation for your special guest for the evening. After breakfast this morning, they enjoyed a look around the Valley and a visit to Kirstens Cottage and Boyne Valley Country Markets. Getting ready now for another big weekend next weekend when the Gladstone Just Rock host a weekend of Rock n Roll at Ubobo Memorial Hall just across the road from Follywood. Sorry folks its booked out already.
