Our last day for deliveries is Friday, 17 July, and pickups from Wednesday to Friday, 15 to 17 July, so stock up and get those orders in! "FOOD4GOOD was created during Lockdown 1.0 with the aim to: provide jobs for hospitality workers who have been stood down or had their hours reduced due to the pandemic;... support local businesses that are trying to stay afloat as Victoria remains in lockdown; support those in need by donating a portion of proceeds from orders to our charity partners and in turn giving everyone a chance to buy meals for those who need it, whether they were frontline workers, or someone going through a difficult time; and ... and 1,000+ orders later, here we are! We couldn’t have done it without the love and support from all of you. Through your orders, we’ve brought back our team of chefs that was previously stood down, raised funds for our supported charities, and was able to dive back into the business of bringing good food and hospitality to all. During the past four months, our tight-knit team has been working tirelessly experimenting with new recipes, cooking up and delivering home comforts all over the city, and spreading positivity through the amazing charities that we partner with. As much as we love doing what we do, this unprecedented situation has led to a challenging time that has affected our way of life, physically and mentally. With Lockdown 2.0 that is upon us now, we’re taking this opportunity to take a break, allow ourselves to step back, and take time to reflect. This is a truly important time for our team to take a breather, look after themselves, and spend some well-deserved downtime with their families and loved ones. Hitting pause is also giving us a chance to change our perspective and charge up our batteries for bigger and bolder initiatives ahead. We will be back mid-Aug, re-energised, and ready to churn out delicious dishes and dinner packs while staying true to our values of helping and creating good!
