20.01.2022 Lately I’ve been eating very fast (borderline inhaling) + cooking more than taking pics hence the radio silence between juggling kids & @crustmountlawley makeover time seems to be very scarce. This is our latest creation @joeyzazas - The Boss Chick Burger. I love a good fusion and woke up one random night with this idea that my Mil’s Italian cutlet could work amazingly with slaw, Swiss cheese, chilli and a special Sriracha Mayo in brioche. 18.01.2022 Absolutely these C A N N O L I S by Divine Cannoli. The shells were crispy and stayed crispy for over 8 hours and the fillings were just amazing. Ft Original Ricotta, Lemon Cheesecake and Chocolate Jaffle which were all out of this world . Super affordable too at $4 a cannoli with a min order of 6 plus delivery. 14.01.2022 Being able to come up with our own sandwiches and recipes is one of the many things I love about building our own business from the ground up - been an exciting week reopening Joey Zaza's after Rona hit. This is my Bossy Eggplant Parma which sold out today, her first day on our sandwich menu. Made with nonnas secret Napoli sauce and topped with plenty of cheese and basil. It ticked all the boxes - I was looking for a tasty sandwich that could be made gluten free (with gf b...read) and veganised (hold the cheese) that was true to our heritage. Its been almost 10 years since I started my blog www.foodiecravings.com.au - it started as an creative outlet sharing my Perth restaurant reviews (when I was working in a relatively dry corporate role) and grew to include product reviews and my love for inspiring business stories including my own business adventures. Along the way I met some amazing foodies (you guys rock), a team of extremely talented writers (special thanks to Ros, Martin, Tania and Steph),... lifelong friends (you know who you are) and had the pleasure to participate in some wonderful editorial and sponsored campaigns. It is with heavy heart Ive decided to wrap up my foodie cravings blog (for now). As much as Ive tried to juggle, theres just not enough time in the day to split my time across Joey Zaza's, Crust Pizza and my lil family. My blog will remain online for a lil while longer until I work out how to archive it but I will continue to post my foodie cravings on here and on Instagram @foodiecravings - Michelle

07.01.2022 Today I had the opportunity to personally help feed @perthhomelesssupport Sunday outreach via our @crustmountlawley Every Sunday and Tuesday the Perth Homeless Group setup at Wellington Square with food, clothing, toiletries, books, coffee, shower, hairdressing and laundry services - all manned by volunteers and donated by amazing locals/businesses. In the photo is featured Nikki, a mother of a 4yo who makes her vegan curry to give out once a month, holding our pizzas is Ad...am who is studying community services / was a FIFO who helps out each week. I also met @footpathlibrary volunteers (Holly, Charlie & Sarah) who distribute donated books rain, hail or shine.
