15.01.2022 People are generous and kind. Just yesterday someone asked me if they could drop off a kid's stroller pram near Food Is Free - Ringwood East. I had a quick internal debate.... It's not food. I don't want junk acccumulating near our shelves. But... Op shops are closed. It's near new. I hate waste. Someone will use it. So I said yes. A few minutes later a woman was passing by walking with a friend. I was pottering around the garden. She asks if she could have the stroller. Of course. She was delighted to use it for her young son. Thank you. To those who contribute. And those who benefit. Give and take. Makes the world sing!

14.01.2022 Our newest addition to Food is Free - Ringwood East. A community noticeboard. For everyone to use.... With the recent rain it's sheltered beautifully. Thanks to Steve. Our resident Mr Fix It. Who makes anything I want!

10.01.2022 Update. Got a free cabinet from Facebook Marketplace. Yay. Next step.. some corrugated iron to weatherproof ..Has anyone got some lying m around???? Quite big. Room for lots of books and stuff. (Previously ...Looking for a cabinet/bookcase for Food is Free, for a book exchange, maybe with glass doors?)

10.01.2022 Update on the update. Have sourced corrugated iron. Yay. A neighbour has a friend who is demolishing a shed. So, it is on its way. Update. Got a free glass fronted cabinet from Facebook Marketplace. Thanks Steve for transporting it. Quite tall. Room for lots of books and free stuff.Yay. Going to place it next to our sharing shelves.... Next step.. some corrugated iron to weatherproof ..Has anyone got some lying around????
