15.01.2022 Vegetables are one of the most common household foods to end up in the bin. Avoid throwing out past-their-best-veggies by making a big pot of soup. 09.01.2022 This is my 2016 resolution and its a big one. Its amazing, though, how simply being mindful of food waste has automatically decreased the amount of food our family throws away. For example, I am so much better about using leftovers now. Ive also discovered that a lot of our food waste happens when we eat out, so I try to adjust our takeout orders accordingly. There are just so many ways to decrease food waste and paying just a little bit of attention is a simple way to make a big difference! #Foodknowhow http://thisweekfordinner.com//10-simple-kitchen-tips-prot/

06.01.2022 Eating accounts for 25% of the average persons climate footprint. If we all pick up small new habits to reduce that percentage, together we can make big changes that create a more sustainable world. When the cupboards and the fridge start to get bare, challenge yourself NOT to go to the supermarket. Instead, get creative! Challenge yourself to create a meal out of what you DO have before you buy more. It forces us to be creative, frugal and sustainable and is often great fun. #foodknowhow Learn more about mindful eating here - http://www.madmadmadbodega.com/yearofmindfuleating/
