19.01.2022 Today we lost our President and Co-Founder Rebecka Darling-Darren. She rests at peace with her partner Darren Stratti, another driving force and builder of the... FWS organization. They rocked our world and dedicated themselves to the creation and ongoing mission of FWS. The boards are actively pursuing go forward initiatives to align with Rebecka’s wishes whilst fully aligned with the core mission. In case you didn’t know, she recently stepped in to save FWS after the previous board called it a day. She succeeded! We still have another 6-8 weeks to save the organization and I’m committed to making sure it works and Beck and Daz are proud of where it lands. God Bless and God Speed Beck xo

07.01.2022 Our dear supporters at fws, I wanted to say thank you for your kind words and support following the tragic loss of our founder Beck. We are so saddened by her passing but we are also just as determined to keep the Kesho Leo Village running in her lasting memory. I wanted to let you know as the new president of fws, I will be working to keep the Kesho Leo Village and permaculture farm running just as Beck would have wished.... The team that has worked so hard behind the scenes in Australia, the USA and in Tanzania, will continue to help the beloved children and mamas of Kesho Leo and to prove that love doesn’t ever give up. 06.01.2022 Important Update: Hello all to the amazing community and past team at FWS. To continue on with our mission, I have been tasked with finding a new board and President of the Organisation. We cannot continue without this role being filled. ... Myself, Rob Cork (in US) and Geoff Gaskell (in Tanzania) continue to support FWS informally however require a board and President located in Australia urgently. We have some transformative ideas to continue to focus on learning, Impact Learning to be precise where FWS will become self sustaining financially and become a model for others. Rebecka was very focused on Impact Learning with myself as a new structure and I have a write up on how to get that moving, leveraging the amazing Australian vocational training framework. Please DM us or myself if you’re interested in a role. The President’s role is suited to someone who can work part time for 24 months and has the desire to expand their horizons into an International Not For Profit. Best, Joe Ward
