25.01.2022 Coffee or caffe is sacred to Italians and weve got a lot to thank them for "Like many of Australias culinary successes, the triumph of Australian coffee is inseparable from immigration. In the wake of World War II, Italian immigrants started to bring coffee machines to Australia."

24.01.2022 Willabrands Fig Gin is my current favourite Its smooth, not too sweet and totally delicious! Made with chemical free figs grown on their estate, Pot & Still Fig Gin is a real winner and a great gift idea for Mothers Day

23.01.2022 Cant wait to experience GAJA by Sashi (previous Masterchef winner)opening soon in Pirie Street. Everything looks incredibly delicious

23.01.2022 One of my all time favourite wine varietals is Nero dAvola This grape variety originated in Sicily and has been given massive respect by Coriole Vineyards in their 2018 vintage - and I love the fact its a straight Nero dAvola rather than a blend. A real winner!

22.01.2022 I’m always drawn to the beauty of passion fruit vine flowers The vine’s flowers bloom in mid-spring and their sweet, aromatic, slightly tart fruit is ready when fully ripened on the vine about eight weeks later - perfect for those delicious summer pavlovas!

22.01.2022 Not long before the inaugural Clare Valley Festival of the Lamb celebrations begin Im excited! Click below to view the full program of events for 16th - 22nd September.

21.01.2022 Tough times for restaurants this year, so its encouraging to see some starting to get back on their feet. I thoroughly enjoyed a recent dining experience at Kosh in North Adelaide. The expressive flavour in all their dishes really impressed me

21.01.2022 An impressive night at Sammys on the Marinas degustation dinner McLaren Vales beautiful Serafino Wines thoughtfully paired an array of their best drops with an amazing menu. Sammys Head Chef Rod Paguio and his kitchen team went above and beyond and it certainly showed on the plate. Great attention to detail with the generous use of fresh herbs and a few native ingredients adding to the sublime flavours. Well done Team Sammys!

21.01.2022 A special wine launch at the iconic Joe's Henley Beach delighted guests with a quirky, sensory experience where Charlemaine the chook clearly stole the show! In a creative collaboration with The Hydropath Society Wines, talented Adelaide surrealist artist Andrew Robert Baines painted two stunning wine labels for their 'Pure White' and 'Duck Walk Pinot Noir'. Both Adelaide Hills wines are a winner, the 2018 'Pure White Chardonnay' crisply imbued with the wow factor of exoti...c Gruner Veltliner grapes - but it was the vibrant, fruit driven elegance of the 2019 'Duck Walk Pinot Noir' which stole my heart, especially since it supports our local hospitality industry "It takes inspiration from a difficult year, and lifts off in ironic style as the beautiful brushwork from an original Baines' painting redefines the particular predicament of being free, yet somehow, tethered, all the same. Centrepiece is the courageous worker who walks onwards into a brave new world."

20.01.2022 Enjoyed a delicious lunch break in-between meetings today at The Banksia Tree Cafe in Port Adelaide. Everything I love in a cafe - a warm welcome, a delicious menu with healthy options and I especially love their support of SA farmers, using local produce and my favourite The Alternative Dairy Co. oat milk, a brand I know is made with South Australian oats

15.01.2022 Quince season always excites me! Watching such a plain coloured fruit morph into its divine, ruby red colour (swipe to view) after a few hours of poaching. Thank you so much @maria.formichella for sharing your homegrown treasures * Poached quinces can be enjoyed at breakfast, in cakes, desserts and can be reduced further and made into quince paste to pair with cheese. 13.01.2022 I have another favourite white wine, and the glass is empty because we enjoyed it so much we polished off the bottle before even thinking to take a photo! Coriole imported and planted this delicious grape variety from southern France nearly ten years ago and released their first Piquepoul in 2015. It has all the fresh citrus notes I love in a white wine and perfectly balanced acidity - a great match with seafood
